can be removed by unscrewing six phillips-head screws from the back panel. A
plastic insert plate is provided to cover the bottom hole that is left when
removing the stand.
thats what i found from this site
theres a manual on the left side of the screen just under recommended accessories
doesnt show how to remove it but might be helpfull for your settings

If you are trying to turn it on with the remote and it does not come on then probably the batteries in the remote have gone weak- change them and try.
If you are trying to put it on with the On/Off switch on the TV and it is not coming on then there are 2 possibilities- the power cord could have come loose, or you have a fuse blown in the TV. Locate the plug and check if has come off. If the fuse is inside the TV then there is very little you can do (unless you know how to open these things and put them back).
Try the above, it seems to be a minor problem.
