Speakers get power from the amp if your system has one or from the radio , if the tweeters work it's not a fuse problem . You like listen to your stereo loud . Blew a channel in the radio or amp ?
Take it and have it checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes

Each of the audio output channel circuits (+) and (-), at the radio and audio amplifier (if equipped) have a DC bias voltage that is one half of the battery voltage. When using a DMM, each of the audio output channel circuits will measure approximately 6.5 V DC. The audio being played on the system is produced by a varying AC voltage that is centered around the DC bias voltage on the same circuit. The AC voltage is what causes the speaker cone to move and produce sound. This voltage will vary depending on what type of audio is being listened to, talk or music, and type of music, as well as the volume setting of the system. Low volume and talk settings will measure around 1V AC and less, where constant music may measure 3 V AC and slightly higher.

Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the appropriate speaker.
Radio ON, test for 5.0-7.5 V between the signal circuit terminal A and ground.
? If less than the specified range, test the signal circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the radio.
? If greater than the specified range, test the signal circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the radio.
Test for 5.0-7.5 V between the signal circuit terminal B and ground.

Check whether the SMPS output varies after 5 minutes working. Might be. Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. Inverter output can vary, but anything greater than 150 volts with a high impedance meter (with a capacity of 2000 volts) can be considered good. The meter loads the circuit by itself and normally the RMS voltage that most meters register is lower than the peak to peak voltage of the circuit. If a scope is used, use a 10:1 reduction probe, and your voltages can be anywhere from 300 volts to 1200 volts with 650 to 750 being the normally accepted good range. Where your brightness control is set will have direct impact on the voltage you see.

Check the electrolytic capacitor smoothes the video output voltage for value deteriation. Replace it, In most cases, this capacitor can be located at the video output circuit board [Picture tube base board]. The value of it may vary from 10MFD 350VDC to 47MFD 350VDC.
Locate this capacitor. In some sets, it can be located at the main baord itself. Anyway, this is the video output supply voltage smoothing capacitor.

As far as I know, ALL alternators are variable output to a certain extent. Not as bad as a generator but still, if you connect a volt meter to the output of an alternator and vary the speed at which it's running, the voltage will vary. There are other voltage regulators that will work on your bike. Custom Chrome's brand is C.C. Rider and Accel makes them as well. They cost as much as the OEM regulator but in my experiences, they don't last as long either. Does made in China mean anything to you? Not trying to be a wise acre here just trying to point out that quality isn't cheap and in that area, I've had much better luck with genuine H-D parts.

If you have a scanner try doing an active test on a/f control. Switch the injection volume between +25% and −12.5%, then read the A/F sensor and oxygen sensor voltages. If both sensors react then they are not the issue. Your O2 sensor should vary .4v - .6v and your a/f sensor should vary 3.0v - 3.35v. The A/F sensor output has a few seconds of delay. The heated oxygen sensor output has 20 seconds of delay at maximum. Otherwise is could be an exhaust leak.

if your just trying to test your altenator output of your vehicle just place the two terminals of the multimeter to the battery and u should get a good general output voltage that shouldnt vary much from when you drive since the the altenator has a regulator in it

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Almost always, when an electronic device/equipment fails when powered with and by a generator, it is the power supply unit (PSU). The PSU circuitry expects a fairly constant/stable power source (120 or 220). The output of the generator tends to fluctuate especially under varying electrical load. Additionally, the AC frequency (60Hz) of the generator's output also tend to vary which most PSUs don't like. A noteworthy point to consider is that the generator is floating electrically, its output has no reference to earth/ground.

If you are considering a DIY (do-it-yourself), foremost to inspect would be the PSU particularly the regulator transistor and determine if it outputs +5 and ~+135 VDC. Another to check would be the HOT (horizontal output transistor). If when the TV was used powered by a generator, there was considerable vertical rolling, the vertical deflection IC would also be a suspect.

A friendly reminder, exercise caution when repairing TVs. It stores up EHV (extremely high voltage). It would be to your advantage to reference a service manual (JVC AV-36D303) or at the very least a schematic diagram with voltage readings.
