The machine has activated a safty seq. There is most likely water on the lower buttom. Leakage or drain pipe blocked. The power will get to the drain pump, when this happends. To prevent overflow on your kitchen floor. Dry out the water. Then it will start as usual.

There's a water sensor in the lower bottom tray. It takes about 1/2" of water to trip the switch. Turns on the pump directly (i.e. not through the main switch). You will likely need to disconnect the breaker to get it to stop running. I've had to pull the unit out and tip it over to drain all the water if I'm in a hurry. To get at the lower basin you will either need to pull the unit out from the cabinet and reach it from the side/back - or if you take the front kick plate off it is somewhat accessible.

Hi, I have a 2006 Asko D3122XLB dishwasher. It had L2 flashing and the drain pump running constantly. I couldn't reset it nor could I turn it off with the power switch. I had to switch the circuit breaker off. As imceacher732 said there was standing water in the lower bottom tray, however the tray is not removable and it is part of the frame assembly. Don't waste time going thru the lower front panel. Remove the 2 side screws behind the rubber plugs and pull the entire unit out of the cabinet. Access the tray thru the lower rear panel (removed) and use towels or a wet vac to remove the water. I ran mine for one hour in various modes looking for a water leak. None found. Drains were fine as well. Is the standing water in the tray a normal condition after several years of use? I dried my lower tray and put in back into service. Seems to work fine.

During the washing circle the machine stops and F3 appears in the time window and machine cant restart

If F3 is flashing, then you are having a problem with drainage.
Check that there is no object stuck in the drain hose outlet. Check that the pump is not blocked by foreign objects and clean the pump. Check that there are no kinks in the drain hose.
After making these corrections, run the drain program or press the key button (door open) to empty the machine.

The screen is flashing F3, what does this mean?

the drain pump of the washing machine is either got loose or its not working or the drain pump is blocked. Water outlet fault (Grey Hose) If F3 is flashing in the display, there is a problem with drainage. Check: • that no objects are stuck in the drainage hose outlet. • that the drainage pump is not blocked by foreign objects. Clean the pump (see the "CLEAN THE PUMP" chapter MENTIONED BELOW FOR MORE HELP). • that there are no kinks in the drainage hose. ------------------ CLEAN THE PUMP Checking the trap and drainage pump The washing machine has a trap, where coins, hairpins and the like can get caught. To clean the filter and drainage pump: 1. Make sure the machine is empty of water and that it is switched off at the mains. 2. Open the hatch for the drainage pump as shown in the illustration. 3. Drain out the water, into a bowl, for example, by unhooking the drainage hose from the pin inside the hatch. 4. Unscrew the cover anti-clockwise and remove. 5. Remove any foreign objects from the trap and pump assembly. Check to see that the pump blades, right at the back, will rotate. 6. Screw on the cover, replace the drainage hose on the hatch pin and close the hatch.
---------- This will help.please do rate the solution if helped.keep updated for further assistance.

Asko D3230 dishwasher pump will not turn off, with main switch on

This is a anti flood activation. It is a safety device (polystireen float and micro switch at the base of the washer) that keeps the drain motor running due to water leak / spill detection. Dry the water and rectify the leak (normaly pipe or clamp leak) and this should solve the problem.

Asko D3122 dishwasher will not fill with water and will not turn off

you may have water under the dishwaher ... have any plumbing work done lately?

if the dishwaher overflows or leaks it will trip a float switch under the dishwasher... as long as it is triped it will run the drain pump.. and not let any water into the tub...

the water will have to be removed and the leak stopped before it will run a cycle....

Hope this helps if not let me know more about your problem..

Hi,

Have a look to make sure that the pump and drain hose are unblocked. If they are, you might have to call Asko and arrange a service call.

Good luck!
