You can try clean the optical lens by removing Bose top cover ( make sure power off your device before remove the cover). Now instead of using cleaning disk, you can using cotton **** with cleaning lens liquid. Wipe clean the lens ( 2-3 times). After it gets dried, you can try your device. If still no joy, your optical lens is defective and need replacement.

it IS windows 7 compatible, so the product must be defective. return it.

Leave 02 sensor alone ,it is doing it's job . It is heated up because of lean fuel mixture due to incorrect engine temp.,replace thermostat before looking further.

When player says no disk, even if the disk inside, and you hear a whirring and clicking noise when you insert a disk, that means that the CD lens is dirty or defective, and the CD drive cannot read the initial CD track, and returns no disk.

Try first using a CD cleaner disk, if that does not work, then you will need to take the apart the unit to clean lens with isopropyil alcohol and cotton sticks.

possible optical pickup assembly defective, get some canned air and try blowing dust and debris from the drime assembly, this may give some limited playability, I the laser is defective it will need to be replaced and with the plastic rack gear located on the laser itself
