Question about Car Audio & Video
I just got this car and I realized that there was a cd changer in the back. So I loaded it up but when I hit the cd button on the dash when it cycles through the cds it says that all of them are a bad disc. And they all work just fine. They aren't burned disc either. I tried canned air and everything but still says bad disc. I really want to get this fixed. I think this feature is kind of neat.

I had this same problem on my 2000 Jeep GC Limited. Today I decided to open it up after looking all over the net and found no help, but spend $500.00 on a new unit. I removed the unit and used canned air inside all the areas I could. I hooked it back up and was finally able to make the CD cleaner disc work. Once that was done I loaded it with 10 cd's and it is working again. I'm so happy! I saved my hubby 500 big ones.

I think there may be a problem with the system (defective parts) - I, too, am having this issue. I am going to contact the BBB - maybe if enough of us complain we will get a recall. To file a complaint:

I talked to a dealer, all they could tell me is they have to send it to honda to fix it... a good 250$ for software fix...plus dealer will charge 50$ for each time they take the player out and in...
