Hold a power tool or a fan motor near the screen while it's running. This will demagnetize the screen.

How do you remove the front bezel on a samsung 65 inch tv for replacement

VERY CAREFULLY!!!!!.....removing it shouldn't be an issue but putting it back on without damaging the screen is very hard to do and really should be left up to someone with experience doing that

I have a 60 inch Sharp Aquos Tv with two dim spots on it. One at the top center 16 inches long and one at the bottom left corner 12 inches long. Do you know what is going on?

H Anon,

How old is the TV? It could be a problem with the inverter or the LED/LCD panel. Try removing all cables from the screen for at least 15 minutes (including power) and then reconnect and power on the TV. Sometimes a dim spot can appear if the inverter isn't working correctly and dissipating any residual power can help.

Best of luck!

I have a Samsung LED TV model 65h6203afxza,version mh01 with a darkened rectangular screen area at the top(left to right)which extends about 10 inches down from the top.

Samsung TVs have three boards, ie, video card (center), input (control) where a single button control/inferead and HDMI s are connected and a power board where 120 volt is plugged in. A chip checks all the circuits before powering up the TV. Usually, fail in the high voltage circuit will cause many issues.Check the high voltage for at least 390 volts at the capacitor after the tiny high voltage transformer, as the power board supply all the other circuits, ie the backlights.

I have a Samsung 65 inch curved tv. It has a small black horizontal line. Also a large 4 inch black vertical stripe on the left side of the screen. Do you think a new tcom board would fix the problem?

Try unplugging all the connectors between the TV circuit boards and then plug them back in (be gentle they are fragile), this can often be caused by a poor connection.

I have a 65 inch Samsung TV approximately 2 1/2 years old . Recently developed a 10 inch Parker sheeted lying horizontally across the bottom of the screen. Is this repairable? What's wrong with it?

every tv is repairable , it is just a matter of money
take it to a tv repair shop get a proper diagnosis and a quote then decide to repair or replace it
the problem that most people have is that they try diy repairs first and generally end up with a unit that is still faulty and has cost more in parts than what a new unit would have cost

Zenith M52W56LCD blue spot in center of screen

It could be as simple as dust contamination in the LE or lcd chip. You need a clean room to work on this area of the unit and NOTHING you can do there would make that possible, short of spending a few thousand to build one. Before we added a clean room enviroment we simply pulled the LE and sent it in to PTS - who has one and reinstalled...
In your case take it to a qualified shop and you'll save yourself a lot of grief..
