Question about FrancisFrancis! X1 Espresso Machine
I have fixed a few of these, it may simply be that you boiler is scaled up. If it's really bad (and sounds like it is) you will need to dismantle the boiler. This is actually very simple but only if you are the kind of person that is confident with taking things to bits. If it's an aluminium boiler version then the chances are the boiler will be seriously corroded and beyond repair. I do have a spare boiler for this model if required. If you decide not to attempt repair and are in the UK I would be interested in purchasing your machine for parts. Let me know if you need help with dismantling it and I'll try to talk you through.
