How to replace the control panel assembly on a Frigidaire Model FPGS3085KFC

I have the replacement assembly, but I'm not sure how to replace the part. Especially knowing how to connect the two ribbon cables that go to the Integrated Circuit. Note that this is a 30" Slide In Gas Range.

My Frigidaire washer would not run. When pressed the start button, will immediately goes to Paused. The model #FAFS4474LA0. Thanks.

Thank you for your inquiry!

From what you are describing it sounds like a possible issue with your door latch assembly or control panel. If your latch is not catching the door strike or the strike is not sitting securely inside of the latch it could cause the washer to pause because it is not sensing that the door is locked.

It could also be a sensor within the control panel causing the issue and if that is the problem the control panel would need to be replaced. I recommend reaching out to a professional for further assistance to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. -Matt

Frigidaire model PLMV178HC control panel replacement

I can't find if there's a difference between model PLMV178HC and PLMV178HCA. Every search for PLMV178HC redirects me to PLMV178HCA. Unless there is grease or moisture on the control circuit board, then you have a shorting membrane keypad.
It is repaired by replacing the control panel frame assembly, which comes with a new membrane keypad already attached.

For model PLMV178HCA, that is part number 5304470533 and you can get it from Sears online for $89.95 (subject to change).

At my Web site, I have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes. (Also, the service manual is here.)

If you have any trouble getting the grille off once the screws are removed, slide the hood vent grille to the left about 1/4", then then pull it forward. On some models there are L-shaped clips that fit into a slot to hold bottom of the vent.

Be very careful when disconnecting the cables & wires. Some connectors have a locking tab (see photo) Next remove the keypad strip (see photo) Then simply move your circuit board into the new frame.

Be careful, because your display tube is made of glass, and if it breaks, the board must be replaced as well.

Let me know by e-mail if I can help further.

Message "er" and "uo" on front panel and slight bumping noise

The UO code on most Frigidaire dishwashers means that the vent at the back of the dishwasher is open (or at least the sensor is claiming it is open). Since this vent should be closed except during the drying cycle, the unit will not start. This avoids having the washer spray water into your cabinet during the wash cycle.

The vent sensor is an optical sensor that is inside the vent assembly. So there are a few places that could fail causing the error. First check the wiring and the connectors for the wires between the vent and the CCU (main control board). If there are any broken wires or corrosion the message may not be reaching the control board. Replace any faulty wiring. If the wiring is fine, try replacing the vent assembly. On some Frigidaire models, the wiring and the vent assembly need to be replaced at the same time. If that doesn't solve the problem then the control board needs to be replaced.

Please note: when I look at the parts for the FDB1050REC0, I found a static dryer vent, . Please make sure that you are buying the parts for the correct model dishwasher.

I hope this helps.

It depends on the model number, but I'm guessing you mean it's an over the range model.

If so, you only have to remove the grille and controller assembly to get to the door switch mounts.

My fridgidaire model #LTF2940ES3 is giving me an error code E47 what is this

Very likely the problem is a bad door lock. It is very common problem with Frigidaire front loaders. You have to measure the resistance of the wax motor in the door lock assembly (the orange piece on the right side of the picture). I don't know why Frigidaire call it PTC. Very confusing. The normal reading should very close to 1500 Ohms. Otherwise verify all wires from the door lock assembly to the control board and, if everything is fine, replace the control board.

If the door switch is bad, replace with this part.

Frigidaire electric range model FFES3025LSa

I have had the same problem. A repairmant has been out twice. I had an F30 code aalso which I believe is a temp sensor. However he replaced that and had to replace the control assembly to repair it. I have had it go out twice while under warranty and it just went out again. If you have a buzzing I would replace the control assembly.

I have a Frigidaire Gallery dishwasher with model # GLDB958JB0 and it started to make a screeching noise only after a few mins into the wash cycle. I took out the filter and made sure there was noting...

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

The problem is with the impeller or the chopper assembly that is causing this screeching noise. You can take apart the bottom front access panel and clean the drain pump assembly completely and check for any broken parts inside that need replacement. If the problem returns then replacing the impeller/drain pump-motor assembly is recommended repair. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

I have a Affinity frigidaire front load washer and need to replace part number 131763202. The model number of the washer is ATF6000FS1 Thank you in advance

Disconnect power then open the door and remove the spring-hoop assembly that secures the door gasket. Peel off the part of the door gasket near the door lock and switch assembly. Remove the screws securing the door lock and switch assembly to the front panel then pull the door lock and switch assembly out. Transfer the wires to the new door lock and switch assembly then install into place. Put the door gasket back and secure it with the spring-hoop assembly. Replacing Control Board on Frigidaire model LEQ1442ES0 Dryer

There should be screws on the back side of the top panel that come out. Then the panel will slide out so that you can access the front controls.
