WHAT SHOULD THE RETURN/EXIT BUTTON DO ON MY REMOTE IT ONLY SEEMS

If you look on page 48 & 49 of your LG TV’s user manual, you will see your TV remote and a description of the buttons.
Your particular remote does not have a previous channel button or function. That backwards arrow button is to return one step in an interactive application or other user interaction functions.
However, if you get the full size LG TV remote it does have a “FLASHBK” button that will go to the prior channel. Some programmable TV remotes have this feature too.
You can go to the TV store and ask to use the larger LG TV remote that has the “FLASHBK” button on your TV on display to see if your TV will perform that function.
Good luck.

Low voices loud music

You could have the outputs of the DVD or whatever you are amplifying wrongly connected. The voices are in the center channels and if you have that section's volume turned down or simply not connected correctly then that could cause the problem. If the problem has just recently reared it head and was OK previously then still check the volume controls for center channels and if that doesn't cure it try a different set of center channel speakers to ensure you haven't damaged the old ones. Apart from that perhaps the amlifier is faulty.

How to set time on the southwestern bell answer machine FA982B

I went to the southwesten bell freedom phone site on the web. Found answering machines.  My old machine was not listed, so I found instructions for a later machine.
The method for setting time was similar.  I tried it and it worked fine.
Your high prices prompted me to be less lazy.

Need to know if my TV comes with a previous channel feature?

Hi. You didn't say what model you have so I'll give you a couple of options.

The remotes have a button called "Go Back". On some models, the button is near the top of the remote, in between the volume and channel buttons.

On other models the "Go Back" button is about half-way down the remote on the right hand side, below the channel up/down button.

If you don't see the button, please let me know the model number of your TV and I will get back to you with the remote information,

Lost the controller for Pioneer rear projection TV

Try pressing the "Input" button the front of the set. That should allow you to change between the different inputs. The return button usually returns you to the previous channel you were watching - don't think it works for the input though. Also, depending on the model of the set you have, try downloading the PDF user or owners manual - it will tell you how to use the remote.
