Question about Kenmore Refrigerators
I currently have it unplugged & is thawing out before i can even look at the evaporator line. is that what the issue is? a clogged evap.line? if so how do i go about fixing it? thank you!
Remove back panel of refrigerator. use hair dryer to melt ice in drain pan under evaporator. keep thawing drain and pouring hot water down it till water runs down and clears drain tube.

Thank you for your reply! UPDATE: I thawed out all the ice & scrubbed that fridge down real good. Dusted the back inside...everything. Now I come to find that in the back of the fridge where the condenser fan is, its dripping water (I put paper towels under it cuz 1. I didnt wanna clean all that ice AGAIN & 2. I wanted to see how fast its soaking the paper towels). What is going on now??? Lol =)
Forgot to mention...when I took the back panel off there was no water at all in there. just very dusty! Which its not now! ;) lol
water dripping by consenser fan is normal. heat from compressor evaporates that water
