Knots? Bird nests under the fabric?

Remove the top thread. ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot. Rethread from the beginning. Verify the thread path is correct.

Birds nest under the fabric big loops of thread top side looks good...

Singer website has a plethora of manuals to download, is the link, your manual is there for $15. If the bobbin thread is knotting up in the bobbin then I'd say you need to rewind a fresh bobbin and make sure it is smooth with even tension as it goes onto the bobbin. If your bobbin thread looks a bit chunky and uneven, then you won't get good results from it. Also, check that you are putting the bobbin into the bobbin case the right way, the thread needs to come off the bobbin and make a reverse direction into the tension spring (assuming yours is a removeable bobbin case, not top loading)

Somethings wrong with the bobbin, it knots up on the back of material

try these suggestions
Try these suggestions
1. Change the needle--use a needle that's for the fabric being sewed
2. Rethread the machine--top --make sure to use every thread guide
3. try a different bobbin--make sure bobbin is inserted correctly into the bobbin case, & make sure the bobbin is turned the correct way in the bobbin case
4. make sure the thread has not come off the thread take up lever
5. Clean under the needle plate & in the bobbin area for lint or threads

Bobbin stitch is loopy

4 is the "middle of the road" tension number, but it depends on the thickness of your fabric.
