SOURCE: Everything is upside down thru the lens

Reflector telescopes are design for looking at stars, and in space there is no right side up. Try taking it out at night and look at the moon. Your telescope is performing just as it should, there are no problems with upside down views when looking at objects on the ground.

SOURCE: stops cleaning after a minute

If these pool cleaners stop moving, it could be one of several things normally. Make sure that your shoes and flaps are not worn or damaged. Make sure that your water flow is adequate to power the cleaner. Be sure there is not blockage in the throat. Also, check your rear tension flap to make sure that it is working properly.

SOURCE: I accidentally placed the upper burr in upside

I've posted this in a few other places on this site (there are many ways to ask the same question), but try putting the clear bean container back on and untwisting as if to unlock it -- the problem isn't just that we put the upper burr in upside down, but then we locked it into place with the bean container. More info at http://www.fixya.com/support/t4009992-upper_burr_stuck_upside_down or try Capresso at 800.220.5701.

SOURCE: upside down images

ALL astronomical telescopes show upside down images it is normal. Put the eyepiece with the LARGEST number written on it into the diagonal. Do NOT use the 2x barlow it is too much magnification for that small aperture telescope.

Elmo overhead projector

Move the projector away from the wall, the picture gets bigger. Then use the focus knob at the top to get a clear picture on the wall. Then use a camera to take a picture of the wall. Then upload the picture to the place you want to transfer it to.

How do you remove the lens if it placed on upside down?

There is no mechanical way of placing the lens on the camera upside down. There is only one way the lens will fit into the body and it takes about 1/8 turn to lock it in place. There should be no effort to installing the lens on the camera. To remove a locked lens make sure the camera is turned off hold the camera in your right hand close to your body and with your palm up. You will now be looking at the left side of the camera, there is a D shaped button just behind the lens mount. Wrap your hand around the lens so your thumb is positioned right at this button. Push the button in with the end of your thumb as you gently turn the lens away from your body. It will detach in 1/8th turn and come away from the camera. To reinstall the lens line up the dots could be white or red set the lens into the camera body and turn the lens gently clockwise and you will hear a click. It takes less effort to do this going on and coming off then it does to open a Peanut Butter jar that has already been opened once.

Hmm, I have Capresso Infinity Burr Grinder #560, and I accidentally placed the upper burr back in upside down. Now it is stuck. I do not see the "black section with a long slot" around the blade.

Yes! I had the same issue with putting the burr in upside down and then twisting it an effectively "locking" it in there incorrectly. I tried the "knife" solution that worked for some people here, but it was placing the bean container back on and twisting counter clockwise that did the trick!

So glad I found this thread and didn't give up trying to fix my burr grinder (which we love).

Thanks to jaybayca!

Lens Error!

In My case, the lens was coming out part way a start up and pulling back in without camera coming on. Some times the screen would stay a dark blue and could not be shut off. Ensure batteries are new or remove and replace existing. Lens will come out part way and retract when the battery door is opoened and closed. Press "on" button and as the lens comes out touch and hold the lens, with a finger placing pressure on the side of the lens. The lens will stay out. With camera upside down blow into the sliding mechanisms of the lens. Grip the furthest most extened lens with two fingers and pull the lens all the way out with steading pressure. The pressure should be equivalent to lifting one to two pounds of bread with two fingers. Perform this with the camera upside down so that any dirt particles can fall out. A slight rocking (side to side motion) of the lens may help. Once fully extended, open and close the battery door. The lens should retract. Turn on the camera. A couple of ideas relatd to this problem 1) If the concentric circles of the lens are not even, this could indicate a large grain of sand. After lens is extended or partialy extended push the lens on the side where the largest gap is while the camera is upside down. This may provide a larger gap for the grain to fall out. 2) Dirty camera case. I turned my camera case upside down over a piece of white paper and was amazed at the particles of sand that fell out. I turned the case inside out and completely brushed and vacuumed the case.

Just came into a used tasco 302048 . Everything is upside down!!!

the scope is made for both terrestrial viewing and astronomical. In order to see terrestrially upright, you need an inverting STAR DIAGONAL. The eyepiece will do nothing for inverting the image. you might have 2 diagonals in the kit that came wih the scope. the diagonal is the part that fits into the scope. then you place the eyepiece in the diagonal. if you have 2 diagonals , one is a 90 degree angle,(astronomical) and one is a 45 degree angle, (terrestrial). the eyepieces change the magnification of the image. the bigger the number (9mm, 20mm, 26mm,) the smaller the image. the smaller the number , the bigger the image gets. the number is inverse of the image. Hope this helps.

Sigma 70-300mm lens not fitting Canon EOS 350D

Are you sure you bought a lens with Canon AF mount? To me it sounds like you got one with a mount for a different camera.
Does the mount on the lens look like this?
db24937.jpg

If it doesn't, you got the wrong version of the lens. If it does look like the mount in the picture, your just mounting it incorrectly.
If you hold the camera with the lens mount facing you, the red marker on the lens should be in the 12 o'clock position, lining up with the red marker on the lens mount on the camera. The turn the lens clock wise, about an 8'th of a full turn, and the lens should click into place.
I hope this help you!

Cd player

pioneer cd players have the common problem of losing their laser lens due to the glue that holds it in place going brittle over time. try shaking the player from side to side and upside down to see if you can hear the lens rattling about. if you recover the lens, very carefully slot it back in place and apply a tiny drop of glue (NOT SUPERGLUE) to the outside edge of the lens taking care not to get any on the focus area and leave to dry. all should be well after this. i find UHU GLUE in the yellow tubes do a lasting fix but don't use SUPERGLUE as the fumes will coat the lens.

hope this helps?

How do I change the batteries?

With most wireless mice...turn the mouse upside down, there will be a place to slide open the battery door. Be careful not to open it incorrectly or you could snap the little lock that keeps the batteries in.
