SOURCE: REMOTE CONTROLS WILL NOT WORK-WALL BUTTON FLASHING RAPIDLY

Does your wall switch have a lock feature? By pressing the lock button, the remote control is disabled. A flashing light indicates this feature has been activated.

To deactivate, press and hold the lock button for 2 seconds. The flashing should stop and your remote should work again.

SOURCE: Chamberlain Liftmaster Pro. Garage door Problems closing

The sensor eye - or more likely, the other end, the sensor light - probably got knocked out of alignment. The eye should have an LED on it - possibly one that glows green when it's ready to close or red when it's obstructed or out of alignment. Try adjusting the light until the LED on the receiver glows green.

SOURCE: flashing green light on Sears garage door wall opener HBW0777 1/2

Same problem - The flashing wall button indicates the remotes are locked out. I fixed mine by pushing the green button on the back of the opener. I did nothing else , just left the LED time out.

It is related. One of the buttons on your wall control is the lock button and has a lock icon on it. Press and hold it for 3 seconds. The blinking should stop and your remote should now work.

Hi Tania,
Have you gone through this checking sequence.? it's from a Panasonic a/c manual. It could be something as simple as a clogged filter. Once you have rectified the fault, you will probably have to clear the fault code as described at bottom below, before it will condescend to work again.
David
  • Once error occurred during operation, the unit will stop its operation, and Timer LED blinks.
  • Although Timer LED goes off when power supply is turned off, if the unit is operated under a breakdown condition, the LED will ON again.
  • In operation after breakdown repair, the Timer LED will not blink. The last error code (abnormality) will be stored
    in IC memory.

Check to see if the wall control has 3 buttons. If it does one of them is the lock button and you need to press and hold this for 3 seconds. The lock button has an icon of a padlock. If you do not have a 3 button wall control programming the remotes should cure it.

It sounds like you have a problem with your wall button. I would remove the button from the wall and then disconnect the 2 wires on the back. Remember where they go as they are color coded. You can then momentarily touch the two wires together to check the operation. There isn't enough voltage there to bother you.

One thing to remember. If when the door reverses the main light flashes 10 times it is a door sensor problem and nothing else.
