Example the number of smoke detector is 39,what setting i use to the dip switch of the base detector.

It sounds like you have binary dip switches on the unit. If so, switches 1, 2, 3 and 6 should be on and the others should be off. on is up, off is down. Binary switches are as follows- 1=1, 2=2, 3=4. 4=8. 5=16. 6=32, 7=64 etc.

How do I get the remote to work fan and light

There are dip switches in the fan and in the remote that need to be set to the same numbers. You can set them to whatever you want, as long as they match. If these numbers don't match it won't control your fan.

Here's a few lines from the user manual:
"IMPORTANT! Before installing this control, check the factory dip switch settings. Refer to Figure 1. Be sure the dip switch positions of the transmitter and the receiver match, or the ceiling fan will not function."

Here's a link to the PDF manual, which has an explanation and a figure in the middle of where you can locate these dip switches on the transmitter and the receiver both.

We installed a 27185 remote kit in a hunter fan, and factory settings. The fan light goes on and off by itself. I changed the dip switches( matched them to the remote to the controller), and the fan and...

I have had the same problem with the light coming on intermittently by itself. At first I also could not change the settings and have the remote work with the new settings. But I found out that when you change the dip switch of the receiver you must turn off the power using the wall switch or the circuit breaker and turn it back on before the receiver will use the new dip setting. I am still waiting to see if the light will come back on after changing the dip switches from 1-on, 2-on, 3-on, 4-off to 1-off, 2-on, 3-on, 4-on and the remote's jumpers from 1-jumpered, 2-jumpered, 3-jumpered, 4- no jumper to 1-no jumper, 2-jumpered, 3-jumpered, 4- jumpered.

Reset the error code e-5 on a ricoh ft4522

There is no need to use dip switches to reset this error code.Providing that the thermistors are good and they have been installed correctly, here the reset procedure that is done through operation panel: press "Clear Modes" botton, then 107,then press and hold the "Stop" key for 3-5 seconds until you see the screen has changed. After that you need to turn the main power swith off and back on.The error code should be reset at this point. If it comes back, you may have a bad fusing lamp or a bad connector.

My neighbors remote opens my garage door too!

Open your remote and there are dip switches that you set to be either on or off. Set them to any sequence you want, but you need to set the dip switches on your main unit to match the ones on your remote. For example: 1 off, 2 on, 3 on etc. Set the main unit to 1 off, 2 on, 3on and so forth.
