SOURCE: Unable to load coordinates for a projected waypoint

There are two ways you can load a way point.

1. Hit mark on your GPS. Push up on your rocker until the coordinates are highlighted. Once they are hit enter. From here you can change the coordinates to what ever you want.

2. If you have the software (Mapsource Trip & Waypoint Manager) you can enter the waypoint by going to "Edit" then "New Waypoint" or hit Ctrl + W as a shortcut. Once you create all the points you need, plug in your GPS and turn it on, then click "Send to Device"

Make sure that your mapsource and GPS are both setup on the same datum and lat/lon style corrdinates as well or it could throw it off.

I have a homework on what is equinox

sir i will tell you in small definition of equinox

An equinox is a period in the orbit of a planet in which the planet's orbit and position cause the Sun to pass directly over the equator. In addition to being an astronomy event of note, the equinox also marks a shift in the seasons. On Earth, equinoxes appear around 22 September and 20 March every year, although the days can shift slightly, especially since the date is calculated using Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), which means that equinoxes in the Far East can fall a day or more later than equinoxes in Europe and the Americas, because of time differences.

thanks

Need instructions to program Intermatic Model #E140C wall switch timer.

Do you mean Intermatic E104C box-type timer? Intermatic does not make E140C

Manual says "refer to programming instructions on time switch door"
http://www.intermatic.com/~/media/files/intermatic/products/instructions/timers/et104c%20-%20english.ashx

Manual says timer has 8 events per 24-hour day ... 4 'on' events and 4 'off' events. Normal operations, selectors are set to AUTO and RUN.

Using sketchy info from manual about programming:
Set sliders to MANUAL & TIME/SET
Press EVENT for event 1 ... set hour and minute using HOUR & MIN buttons ... this will be 'on' time
Press EVENT for event 2 ... set hour and minute ... this will be 'off' time
Set all 8 events ... 4 'on' and 4 'off'
Move sliders to AUTO & RUN for timer operation

Consistent error entering garmin etrex coordinate in google earth

Consistent errors are usually projection or datum related. If you are taking coordinates collected in one projection and displaying them in your GPS in another, you the points will offset. I'm not talking about the decimal degrees 00.000n 000.0000w vs 00 00 00N 00 00 00W. I'm talking about the geographic model to represent the surface of the earth. Google Earth generally uses a geographic projection with WGS 1984 or WGS84 Datum. Make sure you are using the same settings on your GPS.

What are the steps, when given two coordinates to work out the bearing and distance between them

Let us start by setting the terminology right: To locate a point on a plane you need two coordinates ( an X-value and a Y-value). If the point is in space, you need a third coordinate which may be called z, but let's us not complicate things unecessarily.

With just two coordinates, we will be able to locate at best one point.
Let us rephrase the problem: When given two sets of coordinates, how to calculate the distance between the two points.

Let (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) be the coordinates of two points in a plane. To calculate the distance between the points, one uses the formula
d (distance)= square root of ( (x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2)
a7845a6.jpg
When you calculate the distance you must substitute actual coordinates for X1, Y1, X2 and Y2.

As regards the bearing, I am afraid that I am no expert in maritime nor in aircraft navigation and I will not venture stray out of my area of competence. However, I know that you need an axis that defines the direction with respect to which angles are measured.

If your reference axis is the horizontal axis on a cartesian plane you can determine the angle that the line joining the points makes with that horizontal axis by calculating its cosine, then extract the arcosine.
If (X2-X1) and (Y2-Y1) are both positive then cos(theta)=(X2-X1)/d, where d is the distance (positive value) calculated above.

I want to job in event management. it is better ya not.

Event management is the application of the management practice of project management to the creation and development of festivals and events.
Event Management involves studying the intricacies of the brand, identifying the target audience, devising the event concept, planning the logistics and coordinating the technical aspects before actually executing the modalities of the proposed event.
The recent growth of festivals and events as an industry around the world means that the management can no longer be ad hoc. Events and festivals, such as the Asian Games, have a large impact on their communities and, in some cases, the whole country.
The industry now includes events of all sizes from the Olympics down to a breakfast meeting for ten business people. Every industry, charity, society and group will hold events of some type/size in order to market themselves, build business relationships, raise money or celebrate.

Repair lighting engine

Good Day, And join the club of bad light engines from HIT,

One the best ways to contact HIT is via the internet; hitachi corp. The light engine is very common problem for this product. Don't ask them to send part to you, work through a local Authorized Service Dealer. Ask them for a concession on the part. They only give concessions 50% of the time. My customers get the part about 98% of the time.(tech at house with estimate).
Good Luck, big IRISH.
