I would like to know your operating system and the software through which you are writing these downloaded tracks to your DVD.

The problem seems the software through which you are burning your dvd's. I'd recommend you to download the dvd burner from the site mentioned below. It's free. whatever DVD's you burned earlier can't be corrected but in future whatever music dvd you make will work fine if you burn using this software.

In the begining itself it would give you the selection for CD or DVD.

Moreover, now you know what is the problem due to which your DVDs are not playing one after another you can download any other DVD music burning software or you wish me to provide one more.

just copy and paste this in google

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto yourcomputer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

My Samsung YP-U3JQP 2GB MP3 player skips past most of the tracks.

Many WMA's are DRM-protected - the DRM-protected tracks that you have loaded may not have transfer rights, even though they will play fine on a computer. The best bet is to download only songs that are in mp3 format. Another option, which is illegal, is to buy a DRM-stripper and strip your WMA's of the DRM-protection - but, it is illegal, costly, and time-consuming.

I have a samsung omnia 16gb. I have put music onto it from my laptop. I can play the music but can't skip to the next track. I have to exit the music player and select another track. Please help

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM BUT I DISCOVERED THAT IT IS ACTUALLY NOT A PROBLEM. HERE IT IS HOW TO SOLVE, UPON SELECTING THE TOUCH PLAYER GOTO MY PLAYLIST THEN MENU AND SELECT OPEN FILE. ALL THE SONGS WILL BE DISPLAYED AND JUST CHECK AND SELECT ALL THE DESIRED SONGS AND PLAY. YOU CAN NOW SKIP, FORWARD OR GO BACK TO PREVIOUS SONGS. THIS PHONE REALLY HAVE LOTS OF SECRETS TO BE DISCOVER LIKE THE PDF READER BUILT-IN.

Playing of certain tracks

Some of those tracks are in the right format, the ones that are skipping are in the wrong format - convert them all to mp3 format and you will be fine

My SA6025 damaging mp3 files!

Make a note of skipping tracks & check these tracks play ok on the PC - this will rule out corrupted tracks.
Skipping of entire tracks can be due to DRM copy protected tracks (purchased on-line). Some players will not play DRM tracks.

You can check for protected tracks.
  • In Windows Explorer, go to the folder where the tracks are stored on your PC.
  • Click on View -----> Details
  • Right click on the header bar in the right hand window and select protected. (If protected is not listed click on More)
  • Tracks will be listed with No or Yes under protected. Check your skipping tracks are listed as No, under protected.
If none of this helps, install and run the Philips Device Manager. Select the repair / restore option and follow the on-screen prompts. This will format the player, ruling out a corrupt file system on the player, and re-load the firmware.

Not supported format

Well whats happening is the mp3 player doesnt support that file but if you go to Windows Media PLayer somtimes it will actually change the music format. Or if you're downloading your tracks you could try getting your tracks off cd's. When you downloading songs off the internet I'd suggest using Lime Wire.

Skipping tracks

Did your music subscription service expire? That would cause it to read every song as zero. Definitely try the rest method first. Disable auto-synchronization feature for all programs that you sync the device to.
