My Eziset 555 does its thing then stops every so often. comes straight back on. Now however, it stops altogether. We have to go hit the start switch again. What can I do please?

there is a small tube running from the bottom of the tub up to a pressure switch in the control panel that is set by what ever wash level you want
when the pressure in that tube exceeds the pressure set by the knob it does 2 things
it turns off the inlet water solenoid to stop water coming in and then starts the wash cycle
as it is starting the wash cycle , it indicates that the stop solenoid for the water inlet is either still getting power or the stop valve is faulty
try replacing that water control valve first

I would guess it is the switch. My Cub Cadet has a safety feature where the blades (PTO) stop when you hit reverse. There is an override where you turn the key back about a quarter turn or so and hit a button right above the key to make the blades run even in reverse. Therefore, I would guess the ignition switch is the problem but I can't be certain. Or it could be the electric switch that engages the PTO.

First thing to check is if you've got the right needle system: http://partsbooks.sewingmachine.com/Instructions/Juki/Industrial/DDL-5550%20&%205530%20Instruction%20Manual.pdf and that the needle is correctly oriented... the scarf has to be precisely set.
The next things I'd check are the stitch cycle -- hand crank the machine through the normal stitch cycle and see what's hitting. Then fix that. I've got my suspicions this may be a needle bar height adjustment. Don't thread up for this test... misthreading can also cause the needle to hit something and break, so start with the fewest possible variables first.

Put a straight piece of metal or wood on the top pulley and slide it down. Both pulleys have to line up if you slide it down and it hits the bottom pulley you will have to replace or shim the pulley (top or bottom) with washers so they are perfectly lined up

The error code is displayed when its beeping.
I don't know the error code, so It can only be three things,
Out of balance switch,Lid magnetic reed switch,Or Rotor position sensor,Your error code would help me work out witch one of these are faulty. to work out your error code look at picture below.
Add up the lights that are on.

Plug in machine and turn power switch on. Then press the front left hand power switch on and the select program and finally press the large right hand start switch.If you wish to change or reset a program hold the previouly selected program button in for 10 secs and the reselect your program choice and hit sart.

Hi our eziset 750 simpson washing machine has stopped working. It randomly just turns off and then will start again few days later. Cheers

Is it spark ignition or a glow coil? Sounds like the ignitor is busted. If it was a roll out switch the fan would stay on trying to cool off the switch.

5 beeps with the 3 temp lights flashing means lids not closed. or lid switch not working

i just fixed this problem. the magnet in the lid had come loose. I undid the two screws on the side of the lid put the magnet back where it should sit then i poured candle wax over it to hold it in place and working fine now.
