Assuming f350 class of nailer. Many nailers will not trip/fire unless you have nails loaded into the rails. However to test fire you could pull back the feeder and hold or latch it to the catch at rear of rails. Test fire the gun against hard rubber, old coiled up air hose, old rubber tire or into wood. If the gun still does not fire, remove the trigger by removing pin and retainer and push firing pin with finger for test. Install trigger into gun with the tab inside the trigger on top of the retaining pin. With air disconnected, and feeder latched to back of rails, hold trigger in the firing position and push in safetyfoot making sure that the tab is pushing up against the firing pin. Good luck on your repair.
