I don't definitely know but I have seen commercials for charge pads.

A charge pad is an inductive method of charging compatible phones and other small electronics and in order to charge a phone it only needs to be laid on the charge pad. The phones, etc. must be compatible with inductive charging or it won't work.

Bought 2 tablets for our kids and the chargers don't work?? HELP

If they are after market chargers then they are probably not putting out the proper voltage... if they are proper chargers it could be the wall plug is reverse polarity... a 5 dollar wall plug tester which looks like a mini charger and bought at any local hardware store can tell you that with its 3 light system.... be surprised how many are wrong in a house.. if that isn't it the charger maybe shot... unlikely two different chargers are bad though... more likely a second hand pad with dead batteries... which means a trip to the repair Depot. But if they are stolen ...

How touch pad that has been flashed over to android and at first it would not charge because I did not have the right charger now it will not charge at all and is taking me back to the flash cyanogen

Touchpads are really sensitive to the type of charger and cable that is required to charge them. I have had trouble charging mine in the past, but the best form of charger appears to be a touchstone.

It might me worthwhile getting a specific USB charger for the Touchpad that provides enough output. A normal phone charger does not have sufficient power.

Quote from another source:
If you have connected your HP Touchpad to the charger only to find that a charging symbol is perpetually displayed, you will probably need to reset the tablet.

This is done by holding the power and home buttons at the same time for around 15 seconds. During this time, the tablet should shut down, restart and then boot into the installed operating system - albeit with a very low charge.

The charging port is broken off, will the pad still charge wireless?

No. The wireless charger has to connect to the charging port via an add on cover on the device. Powermat Wireless Charging Pads from Duracell

I just purchased the android tablet and the charger is not working, I am using my phone charger to charge it, is there a way you can send me a new charger and also I need a stylist for it. Thank you.

Sorry Patricia,

We don't sell tablets, we only try to answer questions. You should try to contact the firm you bought the tablet and ask them. It could be the tablet does not come with a charger. For that just look on the net, what a complete package for your tablet is.
I would not tell the shop I tried others chargers, because if the tablet is defect they will blame you for not using the right charger.
Not knowing what tablet it is I even can't give an advice on how you could charge it, because lots of tablets can be charged with an USB cord, connected to a computer.

The metal that connects to charger for my pad fell out. is there another way to charge

I am guessing that the metal you refer to is the center pin of the power socket. If this is the case then a replacement is the only solution. Depending on what tablet you have it might be repairable or possibly replaceable but not worth the cost for a very cheap tablet.

Asus Memo Pad HD 7 won't turn on or charge.

1. how old is your tablet 2. have you tried another charger such as a phone charger. My blackberry charger works fine for my tablet. Also with your tablet you should have had a usb cable that connected from mini usb to the asus plug in transformer.

Black Screen no battery picture

If you are having this problem with the tablet, but the charger works fine with the cellphone, then mKe sure that you are using the right charger for the tablet, or it could be that the charging port in the tablet is damage, or the battery needs to be replace.

Hp touch pad tablet will not take a charge

Hi,

Can you manage to try and use another charger to see if it is the charger thats gone? If not when the phone is charging and you try to turn it on does it, if not its probablly the charger

Thanks

Will not turn on

If tablet keeps burning out charges it is due to the fact that an internal short in the tablet is making the charging unit exceed its parameters and allowing it to burn itself out. The issue is with the tablet, not the chargers.
