well..that's most likely due to a problem with the relationship between the control and the compressor.
is your unit under warranty?

The main question is does the compressor at the back work or not. If it is running (constantly), then I'm afraid you need a replacement which is a service engineer job. If it never runs, then it is almost certainly the control system at fault. This will probably be a circuit board replacement to fix.

I just read on another site that the fluctuation is a normal part of the defrost cycle. (Down to -15 first then up to 15+). I have this hapen in my side by side. Also notice that the -15 in the freezer seems to be cold enough to sometime freeze the lettuce. Also on when the freezer is at 15+ now my ice cream melts. This is sad, if this is normal?

SOURCE: 2002 RM 2852, the refrigerator (lower section) will not work its warm inside, but the freezer (upper section) works fine, it will freeze water bottle to hard ice. All fuses are good. Please help!!
cooling unit is bad my friend there is a temporary fix but in my opinion not worth your time take the unit out and flip the refer upside down this sometimes dislodges the blockage in the cooling unit all a rv fridge is is amonia and salt if not used all the time the salt crystalizes in the orfice and blocks the unit a rebult cooling unit 550 about and labor 4 hours at your dealers rate a new fridge about 1500 installed
my shop 360 for labor 550 about for unit 910
I ALLWAYS RECOMEND REPLACING THE FRIDE COMPLETLTY
you get all new electronics and a new box

poss answer is drain hole/vent blocked,as unit auto defrosts water/vapour collects at bottom and when unit swiches back on it freezes, poke out drain with thin wire with a small piece of cloth dipped in clorine bleach or blow out with air hose.do not use hot water to manually defrost/ clean drain holes every 6 months
