Inspect the under side of the deck for grass build up. You need to clean it about twice a year if you are mowing damp grass.

I have a cub cadet zero turn, runs fine but when I engage the blades on grass it bogs down and won't go fast at all.

problem can be caused by dirty fuel (jets in carby blocked) need to clean carby or even put a kit through it.

all three blades have to be lined up the same way when you put the belt back on.

I have a cub cadet, LT 1024, it sounds like it's loosing power on the deck. When I get to a grass a little taller than 5", it slowes down a lot, and sometimes the deck itself quits working. Can you...

i have the exact same mower, i also have 13 more cubs on top of it. i have serviced them and many more for over 20 years. does the motor keep running strong, or does it bog down and want to die?? what do u smell when it gets weak like that?? when the deck quits working, does it start back up when u back up out of the brush or do you have to shut the deck off and restart it?? -Brian-

Cub cadet zforce

check mower deck is not caked up with grass if it is it will not get enough air movementto force the grass up the chute
also try cutting in 2or3 passes so that you are not forcing too mush grass up the chute
