Need help with activating windows on my computer. Can someone help me with this??

You may need to ask a trustworth friend or trusted relative to help you perform the steps for Windows 7 to be fixed, assuming your copy is actually genuine and not simply a copy of someone else's code. Look at the steps before beginning.

Try to re enter your product key. Maybe you just mistaken a character for a different one. If that doesn't help you could try reactivating your windows via a toll fee phone activation. Select others in the activation window after the computer has booted. From there select activate windows with phone activation. Does the computer start?
does it load windows?
is the activation key for the computer, or for some software on the computer?
when did the problem start?

someone might be able to help if you could answer these questions.

To activate your Windows 7
Right click on "Computer" icon on the Desktop, click "Properties" in the Windows Activation section at the bottom of the screen, click the blue text "Activate Windows now" Click the text "Activate Windows online now", you should see a message saying "Activation was successful", if so click "Close".

You must have a authentic windows 7 cd key in order to activate your machine. If you do, simply right click computer in the start menu and go to properties. At the bottom of that window you will see where to put the cd key. If it is already active, then it will say so.

And if you dont have a cd key, buy windows 7!

If your computer came with it loaded on it, there should be a small sticker somewhere on the computer with the key.

If you purchased it after you purchased the computer the key should be in the documentation that came with the CD.

make online using internet connection
then goto start menu > program> accesories > system > then click Activate Windows

if you had backup of your OEM Activation. wpabaln.exe and wpa.dbl just restore it on your system32 on safe mode while turning pc on then pressing F8 if you don't have back of your OEM Activation you need that 2 files if you know someone with the same windows and version of your computer and same computer as yours you can get her files and just also copy the username of the login screen

Sorry, you must buy the product in order to receive an activation code. Just handing you a code is PIRATING. No one here can help you with that.

Looks like you are running Microsoft XP Home SP2.
If you recently bought the computer (just over 30 days ago) you might be getting this message because you need to activate windows.
Look on your start menu under system tools for an "activate windows" icon and follow the prompts.
