No it is not normal, I do however assume that you removed all protective covers before use. You will need to contact the supplier of unit or elecrolux for replacement / repair under warrenty.

Electrolux Cooktop Hybrid error E07- sometimes, cooking gets interrupted with E07 code and shuts off the panel. On next turn on, usually works okay. Could you describe me the error code? Thanks!

I appreciate your post, friend!

I see that you are having an issue with your Electrolux cooktop displaying a "E07" and shutting off. An "E07" code stands for an issue with your key sensor timer and this could be a potential problem with your right, left, or center board. This may not be a simple DIY job and I would highly recommend having a professional technician come out to diagnosis your cooktop. The technician will have the appropriate tools needed for properly diagnosing your cooktop. This step will help you to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. Hopefully this information is helpful. -Matt

Electrolux hybrid cooktop showing flashing 8

I appreciate your post, friend!

Based off what you are describing your Electrolux cooktop is flashing error code "8". Normally, an "8" error code stands for key sensor for cook place 3. This means you could have a problem with your center board or left board. I would recommend performing a reset on your cooktop which can be done by flipping off the household circuit breaker for ten minutes. If the issue remains I would consult with a professional technician for diagnosis and repair on the cooktop. I hope this helps to some degree. -Matt

Electrolux e21

Thank you for your post, friend!

I understand that your Electrolux cooktop is flashing an "E21" error code. Based off the information I was able to look up it sounds like a possible issue within the left board. I would suggest seeking assistance from a technician for proper repair because some of these intricate parts do require precision and patience. Therefore when replacing the exchange of electrical components or removing them from your appliance, I always suggest seeking professional assistance. -Matt
