Expresso is too large

Nancy, this setting is controlled by the settings menu. You reach that by right arrowing through the different beverages/menu selections until you select "Settings".
  • In settings, scroll to "program the amount"
  • place a cup under the spout
  • select the beverage you want to program, espresso in this case
  • select start
  • select okay when the amount of water has been used
  • the machine will remember this setting for future espressos
  • the same menu structure allows you to control the amount of coffee ground, as well as the amounts for other beverages

Plumbed coffee system has blank screen

Strange. If the onboard computer has stopped working, first thing to try is a reboot -- the trick being, right now you can't shut it off. No matter. If the plug is inaccessible, go to your breaker box and shut it off at the breaker. Wait a minute, turn it back on, and see if it boots up correctly after that.

How to regulate amount of coffee in each selection

Hi
Push and hold the button for the coffee you want, but hold it all the way through the process. Don't release the button until you get the amount of coffee you want for that button, then release the button. That should get you the same amount next time. You can do this for each coffee button

It sounds like your menu button (Black) is being hit first. Is the button stuck down or has anything been spilled on the control area. The buttons may be shorting out and being triggered inadvertently.
