Please find steps to reformat your nokia 5310 phone
At first, Nokia 5310 is a S40 platform, no such thing as viruses!!!
It's a software bug, but its no need to go to service. I have also this kind of model. I also had the same problem with start-up, but here's what i've done...: 1) pull out sim card 2) pull out memory card (this is the most important!!!!) 3) put the battery back into the phone 4) with the phone off put it to charge for 1-2 minutes - it will "break" the infinite cycle of start-up and shutdown 5) without the charger in, turn on the phone - now it will start-up normal 6) if Step 5 is a success turn the phone off, put the sim and memory card back.
Thanks,
that could be 2 things.. the battery is not good anymore or ur phone needs some cleaning try cleaning the insides of ur phone with clean cotton buds. let it sit and charge for 30 mins and try turning ur phone on again if this doesnt help try replacing the battery with a new one.
This is an old problem of Nokia 5310, sometimes, this phone will just automatically switch off. Please try this one:
1. Remove the battery of the phone and leave it for about 2 minutes. 2. Insert the battery and try to turn the phone on. 3. If you will get the same problem, you need to bring it to the authorized Nokia Care Center for firmware upgrade or repair.
NOTE: If the phone is under warranty, it should be free of charge.
Did you replace battery recently? Sounds like it has bad or wrong battery. If not, it is just dead.
To fix: Power up phone on charger While it is ON, pull the battery Leave out for 1/2 to 3hr - phone still plugged in Replace Battery, phone will power cycle and start charging Leave plugged into charger 10-14hrs Should be good now
no,charger provides only battery charging and it does not provide the potential difference for the phone to switch on.try with battery of your friends or some one else
