My phone says inter PUK....?and I can't use it. Is this some kind of code?

Pincode stands for PERSONEL IDENTIFICATION NUMBER. It is the fourdigit number which is used to lock the phone. The phone will ask for the code when you switch on it.With out entering the correct pin code you can't access your phone.If you enter the pin code wrongly for a specified(normally 3)number of ties your sim will get locked.You can't use that sim in other phones also without unlocking it.PUK code (PERSONAL UNLOCK KEY)is used tounlock the sim card if it is blocked.PUK code is provided by the network operators.If the PUK code is entered 10 times wrongly the sim card gets permenantly blocked.

just call ur network provider customer care and ask for the puk code.

PUK Code
PUK stands for Personal Unblocking Key. This is a unique eight-digit code specific to your SIM card. This is required when the PIN number to unlock your mobile phone is entered incorrectly 3 times. You are then given 10 attempts to enter your PUK code. Hi,

If you need the PUK ( Personal Unblocking Key ) for your phone, you will have to contact your mobile phone service provider.

PUK code is related to the SIM card you are using and not the phone. So, kindly call the Customer care of your mobile service provider and they will provide you with the PUK code free of charge.

Also, entering a wrong PUK code ten times in a row disables the SIM card permanently. So, please be careful while entering the PUK code.

hello: from phone provider you get with sim also unlock code mostaly 4 digits and also puk code thad you need if you enter rong code for the sim card 3 times then the fhone are lockt and then you have need the puk code for unlocking the sim card

My BB 8320 is showing inter puk
the puk code is not in the phone it is in the sim. what happens is when a sim has a lock code protection on, and you try the wrong code too many times it locks you out of the sim and ask for the puk. call you carrier and they wiill give you the puk or use another sim in the phone.

Whaat is a puk
puk code is used incase you have entered your pin code wrong 3 times.
The puk code is sim card spesific it comes with the sim card when you get it or you can get it by calling your phone service provider of the sim card to get the puk code.
