The sure shot way to get iPhone emojis on your Android device is to root your phone. Follow the following steps carefully:
1. Connect your mobile to the computer and allow the rooting tool to do the job. The Kingoroot tool will be helpful for this.
2. Sometimes, it may not be able to root some Android devices, and you need to check for compatibility of your device before you begin the process.
3. Once you run the program, you need to follow the instructions given on the screen carefully, and you may even need to restart the system a few times.

Once the rooting process is done, you can go ahead and install this new app that will wipe out the default emoji designs of your Android device. In this way, you will also be able to access the iconography used by Twitter, LG and Samsung phones.

I have an iPad Air 2, and I put an emoji keyboard on it! Unless I give full access I can't use it! They can get all I've written, inc. credit cards! Thank you, Dee Lavers

Hello Dee

When I read that, I thought "this can't be right"? After a quick search, I think you are mistaken. The emoji keyboard is part of the iPad and iPhone operating system. By default, your iPad operating system has access to everything on your iPad, but it doesn't mean it is going to start transmitting your details to the mafia in Russia.

I have it on my iPhone 6.

Here is a link to what it does.
http://ipadhelp.com/ipad-help-tips-tricks/how-to-use-the-emoji-keyboard-on-ipad-iphone/

If it was up to something bad, I would have heard of it, and if it was a scaresome Urban Legend, Snopes would have written about it.

Here is the results of the search string for;

'emoji keyboard gives access to everything on ipad'

No hits :>)

When my sister-in-law texts me, the first one is always fine, but the subsequent texts are symbols and gibberish. They look fine on her end. Any suggestions?

If your sister in-law has an iPhone that's probably the culprit right there that's affecting the receipt of her text messages to your Android phone.

1. If she has an iPhone, ask her if her iMessage is on when she texts you. iMessage is only compatible to other iPhones and not other brands she sends to.

2. Is she sending you text messages using the iPhone emoji keyboard? letter accents? or in a different language other than English? this could be the problem when the different cellular carrier interprets the data and sends it to your Android phone that does not have the same compatible software.

Ask her to send you several test text messages in plain text without accents, no special symbols, and no emoji's. If this solved the problem, then you know what went wrong..

If you are still getting garbled text messages even with her iMessages off, and she is just sending you standard text without any symbols, icons, or pictures.. then it could be another issue.. Call your service provider to see what could be wrong.

i would suggest calling on a different phone so that you will be able to troubleshoot the phone in question while talking with Tech Support

in the US, the major cellular companies are:
AT&T Wireless Customer Support: 1-800-331-0500
Sprint Wireless Customer Support: 1-888-211-4727
T-Mobile Wireless Customer Support: 1-877-453-1304

How can we add characters and symbols in our texts and emails? (such as smiling face, thumbs up, etc.) We have friends that do that on their iPhones and iPads, can we do that as well?

It depends on your phone. If it is an android based device, yes, there are many ways. If it is a feature-phone (non-smart phone), it may be possible, but will depend on if that specific phone has that feature or not.

It's hard to find out though without knowing what to look for. Those little symbols you are referring to are called "emoji", and if you search for your phone along with the word emoji, you should find out if it's possible as well as instructions. I hope this helps!

When I send people emjoiis why they cant see them..?

It will depend on their cell phone. Not all cell phones will have the capability of showing emojis. Emojis are Apple's translation of certain characters into pictures If you have a android you might want to go to this web link for apps that will have Emojis for Android's. Apps See more

How do i get my touchpal emoji keyboard wotking again

OK, lately touchpad has being having problem with their app, even if you get the emoji, when you tap an emoji, you will get a totally different one. My recommendation is for you to download any other third party app for keyboard, it could be LG, Swift, etc...
I personally use SwiftKey.

How do i figure out a emoji question

Emoji are the ideograms or smileys used in Japanese electronic messages and webpages, the use of which is spreading outside Japan. Originally meaning pictograph, the word emoji literally means "picture" (e) + "character" (moji). The characters are used much like ASCII emoticons or kaomoji, but a wider range is provided, and the icons are standardized and built into the handsets. Some emoji are very specific to Japanese culture, such as a bowing (apologizing) businessman, a face wearing a face mask, a white flower used to denote "brilliant homework" or a group of emoji representing popular foods: ramen noodles, dango, onigiri, Japanese curry, and sushi. The three main Japanese operators, NTT DoCoMo, au, and SoftBank Mobile (formerly Vodafone), have each defined their own variants of emoji.
Although originally only available in Japan, some emoji character sets have been incorporated into Unicode, allowing them to be used elsewhere as well. As a result, some phones such as the Windows Phone and the iPhone lines allow access to the symbols without requiring a Japanese carrier. Emoji have also started appearing in emailing services such as Gmail (accessed via Google Labs) in April 2009 and websites such as Flipnote Hatena. Apple's Mac OS X operating system supports emoji as of version 10.7 Lion with the Apple Color Emoji typeface.
