Most likely hardware problem with the switch itself. You can load custom software to get around the eject button. Follow the following,

SOURCE: wii console will not eject disk

Had the Nintendo wii problem about the disk being stuck in the console. Rang nintendo service line for help, they were very helpful and would have had to send back to them. Read about disk being put into the DVD player, went to check the player and wouldn't you know it there it was! Spent over three hours trying to solve this problem, oh well but what a laugh. My daughter is now very careful about putting the disk into the wii.

Disk jammed in console

Remove the Faceplate by prying your fingernails into the bottom of your faceplate and pulling up. After removing the faceplate try ejecting the disk again. If it still does not eject. Straighten a paperclip and use the manual eject hole under the disk tray. Do not force anything. just push in the clip and pull the disk tray gently. Good luck. Make sure to remove your disk before sending it in for repairs because they will not send any disks back with the console.

SONY PLAYSTATION 80 GIG,

Try to keep the eject button pressed for several second after you power on the console.
That will reset all the internal components for the disk drive.
It will take about 20to 25 seconds.

Try to insert a disk after that.
If that does not work and you are interested in selling the console email me at bubulica2000@yahoo.com.
Thanks
