Take the batteries out of the new remote. Leave them out for a few minutes and then re-insert. Get the remote to do an auto find with your TV manually turned on. It should find it.

I can not get the invoca remote to sync to my tv

If you can't find the code for your particular model, you can perform an auto search with your remote.

If you don't have the codes for an item you are trying to use your remote with, you can perform an auto search.

Manually Turn on the device you wish to program.

On the remote, press the device key for which you are searching.

Press "Prog" button once. (two flashes)

Make sure the remote is aimed directly at the device you want to control.

Press "Auto" button (one flash)

InVoca will now search through the library for the target device code in three second intervals. Every 3 seconds the remote will prompt you by flashing the light, and the remote will test the new code by attempting to turn the device power off.

The top line of the LCD display will show the device type and the second line will show the device code number as it searches.

When the targeted device turns off, immediately press "Prog" to save the device code in memory.

After you have pressed "Prog", check the other buttons, such as CH and VOL to be sure they work. If not, repeat the above steps. When the auto search is re-started, the search for the target device will begin where it stopped.

To stop the "Auto Search" press any key except "Auto"

Hope this works for you.

Lost the remote control and i need the code for use a universal control

All universal remotes have an "Auto Programming" option. Consult the user manual and it will tell you how to auto program. You don't need the codes this way. Put the remote into auto program and it will find the code for you. Hope this helps.

I can't get channels bwyond 13 and remote is gone so I can't reprogram for other channels. Can this be done withour the remote?

hopefully you have a menu button on your TV, if so you should be able to access auto program (you might have to search to find the auto search)but before you auto program make sure you set your TV to a cable setting then auto program. If you do not have a menu button on the TV, you could also try buying a universal remote. If you don't want to do that you could always use a VCR, just set your TV on channel 3 and do a auto program on the VCR ,using the VCR remote you should be able to tune in the channels your missing through the VCR.

Hitachi 50sv810 Remote

Hi, sorry I confused things on my first post, I understood now that you need a remote to operate the HR 20 , as TV has his own remote.

If you have original remotes for TV and HR20, you should be able to do the job, and that would be best solution.

If instead you want to use an universal remote, the only way out is using auto programming on universal remote, as HR20 codes are not available.

Auto find or auto programming mode is a feature of all universal remotes, you need to check universal remote manual, and follow the procedure, untill this operates your hr20.

The fuse box is on the dirvers side of the car - open the door and it is right there on the side of the dash near the front of the panel. Very accessable. I'm not sure where the auto remote starter is.
