What are your actual symptoms? "Just quit working" isn't enough to go on.

Is it "dead?" (Meaning there is no display, no beeps when you press pads on the keypad, and the light does not come on when you open the door).

Or does one of more function not work?

SOURCE: Fuse problems.

Microwave fuses are usually located inside on the floor of the chassis behind the control panel or on the door switch mount between the switches. If you or a friend decide to work on it, we have *critical* safety, disassembly, and troubleshooting info (as well as a text file which helps in diagnosing and repairing door switch problems) at our site, which is linked at our listing here on FixYa: http://tinyurl.com/yzjozk If you do need a new fuse, it will be a 15- or 20-amp ceramic fuse, and they are available at local home centers, home improvement stores, hardware stores, and appliance parts stores.

Cant find a manual, but on most microwaves, the clock is set by pressing the 'Clock' key, then the numbers for the time, and pressing the 'Clock' key again.

SOURCE: mw8107wa emerson is no working properly

Test the high voltage capacitor, the rectifier diode.or the magnetron. If all this are fine, test the control board.

If it additionally does not spin and no light, then check also the door switch and fuse.

The diode and capacitors can br tested. The capacitor must be allowed discharge before testing, or you risk to get electrocuted, even if power is off. Capacitors can get discharged by shorting their two contacts.
Replace the magnetron if the checks and all of the high voltage component tests are good, but the unit still does not heat.

All locations, and description of this parts can be located using the diagram here: Counter top.

Parts must be tested to find out what is wrong.

Remember that microwaves are potentially dangerous devices if not repaired properly, the job must be done by a competent person.
A microwave energy leakage test must always be performed when the oven is serviced for any reason.

Regarding parts, contact the seller here to purchase parts. (here in UK).

My Emerson microwave is stuck in clock mode and won't cook

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for maybe an hour.

Many Emerson microwave owner's manuals are available for free download here.

Problems with the fan EMERSON MW8107WA

I know you say you checked all the switches and connections, but it sounds like a defect in the control mechanism. A defective microswitch, failure of one of the safety switches etc. Don't try to fix it yourself though as there are safety issues involved (high voltage and radiation) - get a repairman! Considering the low cost of new microwaves plus radiation concerns, you might also want to think about getting a new one.
