Samsung Tv Blacking Out

I have a samsung Un60fh6200fxza and while i was watching it, it went completely black so i know these flat screens are known for bad boards so i pulled the back off and removed the T-con board off and it was very black possibly burnt out so i shopped around and found a replacement video by shop jimmy and my tv fell under the category of replaceing the tcon no video but sound and if i put my flashlight up to the tv i could see the image. i replaced the tcon with a brand new one from shop jimmy but still have the same issue is it possible the board the sent is doa or is there a deeper issue that im overlooking.. i checked all the caps on the power supply nothing looks burnt or swollen i cant afford another 1200 dollar tv so if its something so small and affodable to fix that would be great! they dont make tvs like they use 2!

SOURCE: Samsung TV Model LA40A650A1M back light intermittently strobeing

You can't see if a cap is good or bad jus looking at them they have to be measured>They loose their capacitance because they dry overtime.
I do sugest that you replace you power supply module or replace all caps.Possibily you may have a broken line in the PCB

SOURCE: Samsung 46" LED - Screen goes to black every 15 sec and then comes back shortly. Do I need to replace tcon or main or is there something else possibly wrong?

Hi Todd,
Screen goes black means back lights go off. The power supply may not be responsible for this problem. Please check back light on command from main board. Good luck.

SOURCE: Jimmy shop.ccom has T-con board part #T500HVD0.0 500t10-C02 at the bottom in the description it list model PLDED5030A CRk my model is PLDED5066A-E since the parts # the same will it work in my tv?

If you see an image with a flashlight the T con board and power supply board are good. The back light controller board is the culprit.

Samsung un60fh6200fxza will not show picture but has audio

The board that you replaced is responsible for digitizing all of the data so that it appears on screen. But you do see a picture with the flashlight - The inverter board is responsible for lighting up the backlighting so you can see the image. I would go for that based on what you have noticed.

Ted, You have to push the issue with Samsung, contact them and ask for a resolution specialist. If it was indeed still under warranty when you contacted them make them fix it, as it could get expensive. Check the attached links, Samsung support instruction and guides, Good luck

What do you think is wrong with my television, it has sound but no picture. How can I fix the problem?

Hi there
I would go to menu on the remote , from there to picture go down the list, if you do not find anything there to help you. Go to Support and to the E manual .

Certain channels on the tv flicker when I change channels and the screen will black out for about 3 seconds as if it's seraching for the signal. The flickering and blacking out is very intermittent. I have...

Rogers cable is using what they call "switch digital" this allows more channels to be placed on the platform they are using to give you more stations. This basically means people on the same line that you are, are not watching this station so they put that station "off" until someone tunes into it.

I have a Samsung 50" plasma, that has been blacking out over the last 6 months. A 9/2005 set. Now its practically unwatchable as it happens 3 times in an hour. Its not heat related - I have a high volume 9" fan activated on TV power on. Turning the set offf/on usually makes it come back for a now short while. Considering to go put it in the back of my pickup and park it in front of Best Buy and discourage Samsung purchases. This is the 2nd Samsung TV I've purchased (the other a 32" tube) I gave to my folks a couple years ago and its gone bad as well. Samsung product may look good, but their video engineers are not.
