Check out your SD card is cleaned and it is connected properly (particularly the metal part that connects with the camera) with your camera.

Make sure that - SD card you are using is compatible with your Nikon Camera. (Note: While using any new card on camera you must first format it within camera before using it.)

Check that card is not full and it has enough space to store photos and video on it.

Lastly, if none of the above solutions work for you then carry your camera to nearest Nikon Service Centre.

That is what you get when the camera memory has no images. And the SD card is missing. This does not seem to be a problem. The tool menu will let you format a new SD card.

What does it mean "memory card is write protected?"

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

My Nikon S630 says "memory

Take the memory card out of the camera and look at it. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.
