SOURCE: Frigidaire FDB635RBB heat wash/heat rinse

The "Safe Temp for house hold hot water is between 120 7 125 degrees. plenty good for washing dishes the high temp wash and rinse I've been told was put on the DW's to lessen first year repair calls under warranty. Thus the manufacturer saves lost of $$$ on service calls that just need the hot water temp raised on your hot water tank. DO NOT EXCEED 125 DEGREES WATER TEMP. OR HAVE A PROFESSIONAL REPAIR PERSON CHECK FOR THE PROPER HOT WATER TEMP. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS WASH YOUR DISHES NOT USING THE HIGH TEMP,. SETTINGS BUT MAKE SURE YOU DO USE THE HIGH TEMP DRY CYCLE AND YOUR GOOD TO GO HEALTH WISE. This information was told to me by a repairman in the business for 28 years. We have done it and it works just fine.

Presuming that the IR codes for the 0~9 numbers are captured correctly, then problems like this are usually down to either insufficient time between key presses, which can be solved by adding a small macro delay to each key; or the device being controlled is receiving multiple IR streams either directly from the hand unit and the IR emitters, or there's a blaster in the cabinet that's bouncing IR in multiple paths.

My Brother printer will not find an IP on the router. I've tried multiple ports, but all I ever get is zeroes, no IP, but the router works fine, I'm connected to it right now. Everything else thats...

The best way to have this printer work is to connect it with an lan cable. Here are some steps to check if the printer will work again.
Disconnect the lan cable from both ends. Make sure that the printer shows the blue solid light, Try to do the factory and network card reset. First turn off the printer by pressing he switch button on the right side. Press and hold the GO button while turning it on, then press go button 8 times as fast as you can without delay. Once you see the blue light solid again turn off the printer and do the network card reset. Turn off the printer by pressing the switch button on the right side. Press and hold the GO button while turning it on, then press go button 7 times as fast as you can without delay. After 1 minute reconnect the lan cable from the router to the printer. Wait 1 minute again the press the GO button 3 times without delay, it should printer the printer setting page that shows the correct IP address.
Hope this will help.

Skil 2100daf angle finder

I was trying to reset the zero on my angle finder. It's a Powerfist Digital Angle Finder, the same as the Skil 2100.

After turning the unit on, if I press the Miter and Hold button together and hold them, the unit goes into 'calibration' mode. (The display flashes 0.0). If you do nothing, it will always stay in this mode forever after that.

You can then reset your unit - it takes time however and patience.

With the aid of a large protractor, draw angles on a large sheet of paper (I used a couple of 11 X 17" pages) from 0 degrees all the way up to 220 degrees.

Turn on your angle finder and make sure the numbers are flashing 0.0. This will be your 0 degree reading. Hold the finder closed and press the Hold button once.

The display will now read 10 degrees. Open up the finder until it matches your 10 degree marks on your paper and press the Hold button again.

The display will now read 20 degrees. Open up the finder until it matches your 20 degree marks and press the Hold button again.

Continue setting your angles in this fashion up 'til you reach 220 degrees. The next button press will close the calibration cycle and the numbers will stop flashing.

Your unit is re-calibrated. Now, if it's off - you've only yourself to blame.

Good luck!

My plotter is recieving info. but takes forever to start plotting.

Try turning the nesting function off. This can save paper when you are doing high volume printing, particularly with smaller drawings but wil cause extreme delays if there isn't a steady flow of drawings going to the plotter.

Logitech Harmony 880 LCD / TV screen ''check signal cable''

This is a configuration problem. My guess is that when you set up the "Watch TV" Activity, the input source was not properly selected. Remember, you should almost never need to control devices separately,(as you would with a typical remote). In fact, the only time you need to specifically control a device would be a situation where you need to access a little-used function that was not programmed as part of an 'activity'. Sometimes, you may need to control a device to tweak an activity that did not start correctly, but apart from these situations, you will almost always be concerned with starting "Activities". This is very different from your typical universal remote! Instead of operating 'devices' like your TV, cable box or DVD, you configure and select "Activities" that automatically control the devices that are used during that activity. So, go back into the Logitech software and make sure that your Watch TV activity is selecting the appropriate input. If everything is setup correctly, and you still are unable to go to the correct input, you may need to adjust some of your delay settings, especially the Power-on Delay. Power on delay is the amount of time it takes for the device to turn on and start accepting IR commands. On most electronics when you first turn them on if you hit other buttons too quickly the device will not respond to them. This delay helps to keep that from happening. Hope this helps!

Have trouble turning on the machine

MOST all-in-one printers have a time delay on the on/off button.
Try pressing and holding for a second or two and it should start first time everytime.

Hope this helped.

I know this is probably too easy for you....

hi

look a the settings currently on your camera
turn the knob to full auto and then go to the menu and do a full reset of the unit (see page 100 of manual)
then progressively re-add your custom settings

another option is that you have the shutter set to timer mode
change to 1/multi to repair

Delay in picture taking

Melzim, another user, is exactly right. The lower-end digital cameras experience a significant shutter delay when using the camera; it's an unfortunate fact.
What you can do, outside of investing in a newer model (which do have improvements over the earlier models) is simply try to anticipate your subject's movement - or concentrate on portraiture, etc.
There is a huge value, over time, in having pictures of smiling families, standing still, believe it or not.
The A85 is simply not the camera to use to freeze action.

Shutter delay

If you have installed optional expanded memory, you may notice a delay between the time you press the shutter button and when the camera beeps. You can reduce this delay by pressing the button down halfway, holding it as long as necessary, and then pressing it down the rest of the way when you are ready to take the picture. The reason for this two-step shutter is to save battery power. After a picture is taken, compressed, and written to memory, the Sparc CPU shuts down to save the battery's power. When the shutter button is pressed halfway, the Sparc wakes up and stays in the ready state until the user presses the shutter button the rest of the way. Besides the delay in waking the Sparc, there is a variable delay which occurs prior to the Sparc being in the ready state. This delay is dependent on the amount of free flash memory.
