I have replaced a new belt on my white knight 3kg tumble dryer 38aw. having done that it now makes a knocking noise or sounds like its catching something does anyone have any idea what it could be

IF there is a 'jockey pulley' fitted to guide the belt', this may not be running true, Or the pulley fitted to the motor shaft may be loose, check & tighten the securing screw which should locate the pulley to the motor drive shaft

I have an Indesit dryer which i am trying to change the belt on i have the new belt on and have put it over the motor spindle but it still seems very slack and there is a black wheel above this that i cant...

hi simon the black wheel is your jockey pulley and the belt has to go around the jockey pulley, not really sure how you put it around it but good luck. i am having the same problem.

Husqvarna riding lawn mower (YTH21K46), mower blade clutch cable routing.

Its pretty straight forward to fit the cable, if it is not pulling the jockey hard enough into the belt it is more likly the belt is incorrectly fitted or has stretched.

How to replace belt tentioner

Hello! The serpentine belt tensioner assembly is mounted on the engine mount plate. None of the fasteners that hold either the pulley or tensioning arm itself are accessible with the mount plate in the vehicle, so it must be removed...Once you have the engine mount plate removed, you may begin to remove the pulley..The pulley is held onto the tensioner by a torx bolt. Once the bolt is removed, the pulley can be lifted right up and off of the shaft it is seated on..See photo below...

I need a manual for my Husqvarna CRT 53. My machine is turning all the time, after not turning at all.

The drive system is pretty simple on this machine, you have a v belt from the engine pulley, to a pulley on the gearbox, this belt is slack during non use, when the drive bail arm is pulled in for drive, the cable pulls a jockey pulley under the bottom of the belt, thus shortening it, this increases the tention and the drive is engaged, to stop the drive comeing in prematurly, slacken the drive cable under the facia plate, there is a single screw and clamp, once the screw is loosened, pull the outer up toward the handle, then try again, only move the cable a bit at a time until you get the correct drive, and a neutral position.

My a/c pulley is going out, and I would like to know if I can get a shorter belt and bypass that pulley.

Yes, no problem, although your aircon pulley just acts as a jockey wheel until the ac is selected and the clutch pulls in. Just remember if the ac is bypassed the system deteriorated without use and will take considerable time and expense to reactivate.
