My printer and jump over pages

I do not understand your problem. Can you provide a better failure description, please?

1) Do you mean that your printer was printing say page 5 of a 15 page document and suddenly jumper to page 14 and you are missing 9 pages of the document.

2) Your document is printing page 5 and suddenly you get 5 blank pages and then the text begins printing on page 6. No data is lost but you have 5 blank pages.

Problem 1: More than likely caused by a data flow control failure.

Problem 2: Can be a myrid of things. For example, Extral Line Feed commands accidently imbedded into the datatream, worn indexing parts allowing the motor to drive the paper up more then it is supposed.

Kyocera 3900 dn, is there a way to speed it up?

1.install the latest print driver; see if the rip/spool time is long or the printing time is long. The rip time depends by your computer (!) and the print driver (disable the collate option when printing multiple copies of 1 page = on the printer you should see 1/5 spit a page then 2/5 and spit another page for 5 copies of same page. If you see processing the spit the page then processing and spit the page means your computer is sending 5 times the same page instead of sending once and ask for 5 copies !!! )
2.use network connection instead the USB.
3.expand the printer memory
4.switch the printer from PCL to KPDL or Auto when printing pdf files.

Lexmark Printer X6570 using Cartridge 44 XL - expected output 500 pages but got only 375 pages. 43 XL (colour) - expected 350 pages but printed less than 100 pages and printer cartridge indicates that...

The expected cartridge life that you are given is an estimate based on 5% coverage. If your pages have more than 5% coverage on them, you use more ink and therefore will get less pages than what they say you could get. For instance, if you are printing full page photos, you will get far less pages per cartridge than if you were only printing 3 x 5 photos. So there is nothing wrong with your printer, you are just using it more than the "standard".

Thanks and please take a moment to rate as fixya.
