My AEG OKO LAVAMAT 13.50year 2005 turns off after a few minutes washing

check your power cord for continuity (ohms). If your power cord checks good, I would look at either the noise filter board or the user interface board or main control board. Start with checking your outlet. make sure it is wired correctly with proper voltage and grounding. You can buy an outlet tester at Lowe's or Home Depot. Really cheap. Has lights on it that tells you if wiring, grounding and voltage are right. if that checks good, proceed to machine. If I can help further, look for me on 6ya

Washing machine lights went out and now water is coming out of the door when opened. checked fuse in plug but still machine wont work

Turn fill water off soon.
Sounds like a major problem.
are you sure you have power at the outlet? check with other
appliance. Be careful water and electricity do not mix!
Check circuit breaker in the main panel. If poped try to reset
If pops again, call electrician.

How do I reset my servis washing machine 1500 A+A if it wont do it itself?

Un-plug the machine from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after an hour; or so. If you do this over-night will be better. The internal electronic control circuit will reset itself.

I have a Sunbeam EM6910. The machine wont power up at all. Is my circuit board likely to be fried? It is 6 years old and perhaps not worth fixing?.

could be any number of faults but at 6 years old it is not economical to fix. How much did you pay and how many coffees in that 6 years... And what else did you learn....

Do some research and get a new system.

Zanussi ZWF 1437W.Came home, cycle finished but smell of burning, when put another load in panel wont light up and crackling sound

Seriously. Disconnect from the mains RIGHT NOW.

Water and electricity are always a bad mix and it sounds like your machine may be combining them right now. Worse still, if it's not water leaking, (which will kill you very nicely if the chasis goes live). then something inside is shorting without the aid of water, which could result in a fire.

Once you have unplugged and made safe, take the top off the machine and have a look and a sniff, then come back here and ask some questions about what you have seen.

Door wont open

Most washing machines electromagnetically lock when on a cycle and remain so for a few minutes after it has finished. If you turn the electricity off/switch it off before it has unlocked, the door may not open.

Try turning the power on for a few minutes and see if it will release. If that doesn't work, put it on the shortest cycle, eg spin and wait for it to complete before you turn it off
or check their is no water in the drum, if their is check the drain pipe isn't creased.
If not pull out your machine if reqd , and check the pump is not blocked, more common than you think. Can be located at the front or back of your machine.

If none of these turn off your socket for 10 mins.

My washing machine is not working??

  1. Fixing an Agitator One of the most common problems with a washing machine is due to a broken or malfunctioning agitator. The agitator is the piece of plastic that moves back and forth. In order to fix the agitator, you must first remove it. If the agitator is not broken, but moving slowly in one direction or not at all, this can be due to the clutch assembly that the agitator relies on. You can remove the agitator and check the clutch assembly. The clutch has dogs that depress and pop up with each turn, however if these dogs are worn, they will need to be replaced. You can usually contact your washing machine manufacturer and order replacement parts. Alternatively, you could get one from a home improvement store that stocks common washing machine items.
  2. Electrical Problems Sometimes a washing machine may have electrical problems that can include a blown fuse, a broken timer, switches that are not functioning, etc. Obviously, before you fix a problem with the electricity, make sure you unplug the washing machine. First, check your fuse box and your electrical outlet. Some types of washing machines require higher voltage to work and it might be a problem with your home’s electricity rather than the washing machine. In addition to checking the outlets and fuse box, check the cords and electrical system of the washer machine. Most washer machines will have fuses that are accessible from behind the unit. Check to make sure all are working properly. If you are having a problem with a specific switch such as a timer or thermostat, you might want to check the connection or replace the timer or thermostat completely. Usually this only requires a screwdriver and the new part.
  3. hope your problem will be solved
