Cannot delete mail folders, says see folder owner or administrator to change permission.folder is full. how do I change this?

download a small program called Unlocker, install and restart, then go to the folder and right click mouse, scroll down till you find unlocker and left click, then choose unlock and then you should be able to empty the folder, alternatively you can download a small program called take Ownership, download and install then the same right click and scroll down to find : take ownership
it is obvious your not running an administrator account, if you know the admin password log in under Administrator and then empty folder

How to buy, register and unlock Image-Line products DEMO ONLY? Either FL Studio or plugins that it contains may appear as a demo. This means projects saved that contain demo plugins, won't reopen with the demo plugins in place until they are purchased and registered. Once demo plugins are registered, the project will open correctly, as originally saved. To unlock FL Studio or plugins you need to purchase a personalized registry key and install it on your PC. The full purchase and registration procedure are as follows.

  1. Use the DEMO - The FL Studio Demo version and Demo plugins allow you to use all program/plugin features so that you can ensure anything you are interested in buying works 'as advertised' prior to purchase. Demos are unlocked with a single registration key (see step 4), your key will unlock only those features and plugins associated with the FL Studio version (Express, Fruity, Producer or Signature Bundle) & plugins you have purchased. Features & plugins included with each version of FL Studio are compared here, on the FL Studio websiteexternal_link.gif.
  2. Purchase - Go to the Image-Line Storeexternal_link.gif and follow the instructions.
  3. Wait for your email - After ordering the plugin you will be sent an email with a login and password to your customized user page on the Image-Line site. Please keep an eye on your spam filter so that it doesn't redirect the registration email to a spam folder.
  4. Download your registration key - A single reg-key is required, it will be set to activate your FL Studio version and/or plugins. Go to the link provided, log onto your personal pageexternal_link.gif and find the link that says 'Click here to unlock this product'. Click on the link and save the RegKey to your computer.
  5. Unlock the purchased item/s - Run the RegKey file (FLRegkey.Reg) by double clicking on it (or right-clicking and selection 'Merge'). The installation will be treated with some caution by Windows, this is normal, accept all warnings and allow the key to be written into your registry. NOTE: You can save this RegKey and use it with any PC you own, all that we ask is that you are the only user of FL Studio.
  6. Use the plugin/software - Next time you open FL Studio you should find that the purchased item is now unlocked and working without any limitations, no additional downloads are required.
If you are having difficulties or questions please try contacting our Live Supportexternal_link.gif through the Image-Line store (the link is located in the top right corner), or contact Technical Supportexternal_link.gif where you can create a traceable support-ticket.

Anti spy on yahoo says i need administrative rights to work?

If you are using XP or later and you have established user accounts on your computer, or someone who actually controls your computer has created user accounts, there is a good possibility you do not belong to the "Administrative User group". If this is your computer, you will need to log in as an administrative user with the proper password, if you assigned one. If the computer is actually controlled by another person, you will have to get that other person (mom, dad, sister, brother, son, daughter, boss, neighbor, dude down the street, other person) to change you from "limited" to "administrative" user.

It is not my intention to be negative when I make reference to the person who controls your computer. If you cannot get in as administrator, evidently you forgot the process or someone else doesn't want you to be installing programs on the (their) computer.

These changes can be made by going to the control panel and opening USER ACCOUNTS (in XP). If you do have administrative rights, you can make the changes, if you don't, well then, Windows will not allow it.

I hope this information helps you

Computer has completely frozen and asks for gigabyte disk

This can happen for a few reasons none of which are good.

Two ideas

1) If you have the original XP disk, boot from that and select repair.

2) Start windows in safe mode. To do this press F8 when XP starts to load. Once in there you will need to look at the Event Viewer, System log to see if you can identify what happened. If you are not a computer geek then it might be best to find someone who is to look at your PC's event logs.

Hopefully option 1 will get it done for you.

Good luck and thanks for using FixYa!

Cant access info tool bar grayed out

I saw this same problem on a client's computer. BelgianAlien's analysis was correct... problem was an advertisement. Thing was, we couldn't *see* the advertisement because the window wasn't maximixed. Note that you only get those ads *after* you log into your company file though! Aha! So, what I did was click cancel when it would request the password for the company file. Without that, it can't log into the company file (and pop up the ad) and then QB prompts you for where to find the company file. You can maximize the window now, log in, kill the advertisement, and go about your business.
