SOURCE: Samsung a177 bluetooth help??????/

I'm sorry buddy because there is no way for your phone to pair up with other BT capable phones because eventhough the phone has bluetooth, it is only capable of pairing up with a bluetooth carkit & bluetooth headset.

The SGH-A177 does not have a File transfer profile (FTP) under the bluetooth profiles that ur phone is supporting.

U need to have another higher model but call Samsung first to inquire if the other Samsung phone you want to buy has a file transfer profile.

check this bluetooth article.

that info is straight from Samsung....

Hi.

You have your Num Lock on. Look for the Num Lock key on the top right of the keyboard and press it. That will remove the Number Lock and the letters will type as normal.

Bodyglove samsung galaxy tab3 bluetooth keyboard does not work.the lights are on.The tab recognises the pairing & connects via bluetooth, however,I cannot type. Is there a way to "restart" the keyboard

I believe that you need to set the deafult keyboard on your device sertings. As you know your device keyboard is set to google or samsung keyboard. Unpair the device with the keyboard and re -pair them again, once they are paired go to device settings, language and data tap default keyboard and select bluetooth keyboard and set it as default.
Hope this helps.

Good luck.
