Reach inside and try to turn the drum by hand, it should have some resistance, if it spins free, you may have a broken belt or it fell off. There is a switch on many dryer that is attatched to the motor. If the belt breaks it triggers the switch which disables the motor and heater on the dryer. Also double check that model #, Im not finding anything under that #. thanks Dave www.washermd.com

SOURCE: dryer still wont heat
you could remove and bench test the theromostat. my kenmore would not complete the circut to heat at all with a faulty thermostat. Just use a jumper wire to bypass it and test it THERE WILL BE NO SHUT OFF COULD HEAT UP TOO MUCH IF LEFT RUNNING.

run the dryer with out the vent hose hooked up.if the dryer work's than you have a problem with the vent system.check your vent hose from the dryer to the outside vent.
