Why is my tv sound working with head phones but not when they are out

Sometimes the tip of the earphones breaks off inside the plug anf so it stays stuck on the earphone output even when you remove the earphone jack. You can use a flashlight to look in the hole and you may see the tip broken off inside. Another possibility is that it was set as the default on the t.v's menue and so it outputs to the earphones even with them unplugged thus you dont get the speaker sound. One other possibility is that the sound board burnt out to the speakers so there is no audio but the earphobes still work.

Radio and CD player both emit a hissing or buzzing noise through the speakers like there is poor reception. However, all the local signals are found and play just fine, just the hiss!

The CD player cannot suffer from poor reception, so if you are having the same hissing / buzzing sound from the Bose system irrespective of the source you have selected , its is coming from the preamp / amplifier section. Also could be coming from the electronic source selector in the preamp section. You will need profession help

Will it work in Spain

HELLO

Your TV must be switchable from PAL I (UK) to PAL B/G. If your set cannot be changed over from one transmission standard to another, then you will NOT pick up any transmissions.

Though if you want to you can use it via scart/AV connections to satellite box of some type and that will get around the problem.

ALL THE BEST (:-)
