How do i import the tracks from a cd to the track board?

When you make a cd if the names are not coming in when you add the tracks you can try a feature on most programs which is called get track names or something similar if this does not work you can type them in manually most burning programs have the ability to do this . I have all these features on my burning programs . You would have to import the tracks into a new play list and try what I said bottom line is at the least you should be able to add the track names manually then burn and they will show up on most radios or CD players . First check the strip cable that connect the lens unit and the main system board. This strip wire has carbon tracks as conductors. The strip wire has to tralvel along with the lens unit contnuously to track the disc; So it is very likly to get internal carbot track break in it disconnecting some of the connections between sens unit and main cable. Thei is a common faut seen with all the CD players and DVD playes for any company. Just replace it first, it can be bought from most of the electronic spare aprt shops at your town. It wont cost more. If this does not help you, repalce the Laser Pickup Unit. Note its number ,as it is very important when replacing it. It is one amoung the most critical part of your system. Its numbe ri more important to note. OK.

For you to know if the problem is with the CD or with the drive try to pla the disk to a different cd player check if ot will have a problem and try a different audio disk and run it on your computer so that you will determine which one is faulty.

For missed tracks that needed imported to CD,go on the track folder and copy&paste.

Have you read the section of manual relating to 'Importing CDs' ?

Select a playlist, press 'playlist edit' - press HD/CD - insert CD, close drawer. Once Alesis has scanned disc, press 'track move' - display should read Move CDTrk -> Trknn where 'nn' is the next available track in playlist. Press Cursor Left to place cursor under CDTrk, press Down/No, and display should read Move CD->Playlist. If you now hit Yes it will copy all CD tracks to the active playlist (it'll prompt if the playlist isn#'t empty to make sure you want to add the CD to the tracks already in the playlist).

Once they are copied to the playlist, you can move them around if required, DSP them, then burn that playlist to a blank CD

Could be either the Track skip switch has collapsed and is thus over sensative or the button bank is broken and the track skip switch is being pressed when the cue button is used.
Could also have liquid spillage on the circuit board which cause all sorts of random problems

You have to have your computer hooked up to an active internet connection for iTunes to be able to check the track names and info. You can manually tell it to look up info on tracks you've already imported. Use the "Get CD Tracks" menu option under the Advanced menu item.

You have probably bust your HD dude.

MP3 pro?! Have you tried using a 3rd party writer like roxio and just chose data disc option, or import them into a conversion software even import into itunes (insuring mp3 is your selected format) and write the mp3 files created.
