SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: texas instruments ti-83 plus. only have black line on screen

Hello,
Reset the calculators memory [2nd][MEM][7:Reset][1:All Ram][2:Reset]
If that does not work

You should reinstall the system which you find here

http://education.ti.com/educationportal/downloadcenter/SoftwareList.do?website=US&tabId=1&paneId=2

Use the link below to install TIConnect software
http://education.ti.com/educationportal/sites/US/productDetail/us_ti_connect.html You can also download the latest OS there.

Install TI connect on your computer and run it to open the main Window. Then connect you calculator to a USB port and, in the TIConnect main window Click the TIDeviceInfo icon. Software will try to retrieve the info. If it does your calculator is fine.

If it tells you Device Not found , Click communication settings in same pop up window where it said Not found, and Select Device, Select Cable, Select Port and Click OK..

If you are lucky and it works, you can reinstall the OS, which can be downloaded from education.ti.com. You drag and drop the OS on the TIconnect main window. Calculator must of couse be connected to computer.

If you have problem with TIconnect, use the calc-to-calc cable to transfer the OS of a working calculator. Yous should be on Receive mode [2nd][Link] --->>Receive. (When both calculators are ready hit enter.) The other calculator, you guessed exactly right, must be on Send [2nd][Link][SEND][G:SendOS]. (When both calculators hit [ENTER])

If all that does not work, then it may be time to head for a place of worship to pray for its resurection, or look for a repair shop.
Hope it helps

There are no grid lines when i push graph on my TI-83 Plus.

If you mean the axes, execute the AxesOn command from the catalog. Press 2nd [CATALOG], use the up/down arrows to get to the AxesOn line, press ENTER twice. If you still don't see the axes, check the window range (press WINDOW) to make sure the range includes zero.

Or do you want some other type of grid lines?

Press [2nd][APPS] to open the (ANGLE) menu. The symbol for the minutes is the second in the list. To enter the seconds press [ALPHA] [+].
When entering an angle in D(egree)M(inute)S(second), you must enter the number of minutes even if it is zero.
12 deg 25" will give a syntax error, so you have to type 12 deg 0' 25"

Hello,
I was able to reproduce the output p/y 1 but I have no isea what the horizontal lines come from. (maybe you set the split screen in mode Horizontal) but that would be touching more than one button.
Press [2nd][MEM][3: Clear Entries][ENTER]
or Press [2nd][MEM][7:Reset][1:All Ram][2:Reset]

In case you are interested, here is what you did to get the p/y =1.
You pressed [APPS][->>][VARS][6:P/Y][ENTER] to get 1.

Hope it helps.
