Question about Hardware & Accessories
The display lights up and shows protect but the set won't switch on. When I press the start button, the display remains lighted but is now blank
When the protect indicator comes on, usually a power transistor has blown. The unit needs to be taken to a repair shop.

Testimonial: "By a method of trial and error, I have solved the problem. I disconnected the CD Deck from the control circuit and the set started to function normal again. I'll now have to troubleshoot the deck itself to find the fault."
