SOURCE: garmin approach G6 hand held yardage finder

I would say the battery is defective but make sure the charger is ok, you will need a DVOM meter to test the charger, it should have about 7-9 volts output unloaded.

I have a SGX and have lost the antenna cover. Can I find a replacement?

Stay AWAY from the SGX. The quality control is really poor. I know of three other users having the same problem, the antenna cover falls off and the unit does not get satelite reception. It becomes a piece of junk. Once that unit got replaced, in less than 5 months, the rubber covering the knob that allows you to select items had a tear and now the unit is no longer waterproof. This is not covered under warranty and they want you to pay $89.95 for a replacement. I am done with SkyCaddie. I have just purchased the new Garmin G6, awesome device, no annual fees, long battery life and touch screen enabled.

Can a golf ball be replace by a different type of ball during tournement play

"There is nothing in the Rules of Golf that prevents a golfer from switching to a different brand of golf ball (i.e., from a Titleist to a Bridgestone) on every hole on the course - so long as the change is made between the play of holes.
However, there is something in the Rules of Golf that says a tournament committee can impose such a rule.
It's called the "one ball condition" (in the rulebook, it's in Appendix 1, Part C), more commonly known as the "one ball rule." As you probably know, all Tour events are played under the "one ball rule." And any rules committee may adopt the "one ball rule" for its competitions.
"The "one ball condition" requires the player to use the exact same brand and type of ball throughout the round. For example, if you tee off the first hole with a Titleist Pro V1x, then that's what you must play throughout the round. You may not switch to any other brand of ball, nor even to any other type of Titleist ball. You started with the Pro V1x, so the Pro V1x is what you must use on every stroke. "If the "one ball rule" is not in effect, however, golfers may swap out different types of golf balls at any point in a round of golf, so long as the change is made between holes rather than during the play of a hole."

What's the goal of ladder golf?

A ladder golf player aims to make exactly 21 points. Not more nor less.
By tossing the bolas to the ladder the player can get them hanging from the top bar (3 points), the middle bar (2 points) and the bottom bar (1 point). He tosses his three bolas, then it's the opponent's turn, and they keep going, gathering points until they reach exactly 21. If a player goes over 21, the points from that round don't count.

I can't download my selected courses..get to point where it says to turn on and connect Garmin Golf GPS gps, then nothing happens stays at 0% downlaoded

On my Garmin that is usually caused because the interface cable is not firmly seated into the slot. If all the contact points are not in place you will get that problem.

Can i down load golf courses to my garmin 260 i was told at the store this was possibble but i cant find any info on the garmin 260 gps on the garmin web site to tell me that i can do this. Or do i have to...

It's "possible" to use the 260 as a golf GPS unit, but it probably isn't going to be the golf tool the guy at the store promised.

1. There aren't any golf maps available for this unit, other than ones that have been created by users. 2. The 260 displays distance in feet or miles: is that a 5-iron? 3. The battery life is about 9 holes on the Nuvi series.

On the other hand, if you want to have a navigation GPS and also use it on the golf course, then you can check out the details on this website:
http://www.wideopenwest.com/~don_barger/nuvi-software.html

There are free maps for download and a web-based tool for creating your own golf maps.
