SOURCE: Dishwasher not working

Hi there Fishgirl, Is your machine intergated with your kitchen or does it have a factory finish. If it is intergrated when the product stops open the drawer and tell me which wash cycle is lit. If it is a factory finish product, ie Stainless steel, does any fault code come up on the display screen on the front of the drawer. Kind Regards Carmen

SOURCE: Fisher & Paykel dishwasher drawer won't run, beeps F2 error code

Craig, we had virtually the same situation.  The repair man  came and it took 2 minutes to fix.  The problem was that the bottom drawer had not been used for a couple of years and thus the impellor had jammed.  to fix it take out the basket, lift off the rotor arm and unscrew the knob.  Then just work the impellor around with your fingers until it frees.  It then worked perfectly.  We will use the bottom often from now on to prevent this happening again. By now the left over pumpkin pie will be a bit green!!

SOURCE: The top drawer of my Fisher Paykel two drawer dishwasher will not close all the way. Something appears to be stopping it. How do I fix it?

To find out what might be blocking it, you can remove the drawer. There are two tabs one on each side of the drawer near the bottom front. Push those in and pull the drawer out. You can lift the drawer up and push the slides in to get them out of the way. Then you should be able to see into the cabinet and what if anything is stuck behind the drawer

SOURCE: we have a 23" Fisher&Paykel dishwasher and got

The F1 error coming on top drawer when operating bottom drawer is due to the thermal fuse blowing up on the bottom drawer and shutting controller power.

The thermal fuse could have blown either as a normal component failure or heater over heated due to thermostat failure. In any case this can be repaired by replacing the whole heater assembly as all the parts are integrated.

This is at the underside of the drawer and will need a technician to replace unless you are very familiar with repairing electronic dishwashers. The part look like this.

The way you have described the onset of the F1 error is not due to flood switch. You can confirm that the lights on the bottom drawer are out even though the top drawer is showing F1 and beeping.

If problem was flood switch then both drawers would show F1.

Fisher Paykal DD60 dishwasher - strange issue - beeping when needs to drain

If your Fisher Paykel DD60 dishwasher is beeping when it needs to drain, it may be experiencing a drainage issue. Here are some steps you can try to diagnose and fix the problem:
  1. Check for Blockages: Make sure that there are no blockages in the drainage hose or filter. A blocked drainage hose or filter can prevent the dishwasher from draining properly, which can trigger the beeping sound. Remove any blockages that you find.
  2. Check the Drain Pump: The drain pump may be faulty, which can prevent the dishwasher from draining properly. Check the pump to ensure that it is functioning correctly. If the pump is not working, it may need to be replaced.
  3. Check the Drain Valve: The drain valve may be faulty, which can prevent the dishwasher from draining properly. Check the valve to ensure that it is functioning correctly. If the valve is not working, it may need to be replaced.
  4. Check the Control Board: The control board is the brain of the dishwasher and controls all the functions. If it is faulty, it can cause the dishwasher to not operate correctly. Try resetting the control board or replacing it if it is faulty.
  5. Check the Sensor: The sensor may be faulty, which can cause the dishwasher to beep when it needs to drain. Try cleaning the sensor or replacing it if it is faulty.
If none of the above steps work, it may be best to contact a professional technician for further diagnosis and repair. They can inspect the dishwasher thoroughly and ensure that it is working correctly and safely.

Fisher & Paykel dishdrawers - no power at all to the top drawer

Try and do a power reset to the dishwasher. This means turn the mains power off to the dishwasher and back on again. If there is no mains socket under the kitchen bench then maybe do this from the mains contactor switch in the meter box. If there is no difference to the behaviour of the top drawer then the controller has most likely packed up. You can test things out by taking controller from bottom drawer and putting in top drawer. But this requires some experience with taking out the front covers of the drawers, taking out the connectors and putting back. If you mix the connector connections etc you can cause more damage. Take photos as you go along. Make sure the dishwasher is disconnected from mains power when you are working on it.

Dishdrawer: Does not start, just beeps once

Some sensors on the unit are telling the controller there is a fault.
Most likely the sensor checking the drawer is open or close is giving a fault. It is likely the drawer has come off the rail.

DW (top drawer) will not start.Green light comes on when pushed to start but after 1-2 minutes, DW starts beeping and start button light turns red.

Turn the mains power off and back on after a little delay. If no change, some sensor in the drawer is faulty - most likely the drawer close sensor as it is telling the controller the drawer is not closed.

Dishwasher beeps but won't run

There could be several reasons for the beeping. The dishwasher checks for sensor to make sure it is in good health before it starts. Most likely the drawer close sensor is detecting fault. This is to ensure the drawer is closed fully to avoid water leaks when dishwasher is on. Sometimes sensor itself has failed and has nothing to do with position of drawer. Open top cover carefully to make sure the drawer is travelling ok on the rails. TAKE MAINS POWER CABLE OUT BEFORE WORKING ON DISHWASHER.

F&P dish drawers model DD6031

It may be that the DW thinks the drawer may have been pulled open. On the right side, near the top. there are two light pipes on the drawer. One sends an infrared beam of light to a reflective area on the cabinet, the other receives this light. This is how the drawer senses whether the drawer is open or closed. Wipe these areas with a clean dry cloth.

Fisher Paykel Dishwasher Door Open error code

If it is a dish drawer type there is a clip at the rear of the drawer that holds the drawer closed. you will need to withdraw the drawer partially to look in. with the drawer open the fingers should be facing towards you. If not you will need to reach in and pull the top of the fingers towards the front. there is a replacement arm that holds the pipes and cables away from this part.

Try to reset your dish washer. Turn off main power supply and leave it for at least 1 min. Is there any error code appear/beeping sound?
