Hi, one door is higher than the other and does not always close properly.

both doors use a part called cam&riser on the lower hinge, its broke and needs to be replaced. The part number is WR02X11743 it could be ordered by a google search by simply googling the part number. to replace it remove upper hinge(hinge cover if has one) lift off affected door and replace cam&riser, if on freezer door the water line to the dispenser must be disconnected and the wiring needs to be unplugged, to unplug squuze release tab and pull plug apart, to disconnect water line push in center collor of connector union and pull line out

Hope this helps if it helps please give me 4 thumbs up

Bottom hinge on GE side by side broke. Need to replace hinge but water line for ice maker/water dispenser runs thru it. How do you remove the water line so you can take off the door and replace hinge?

there should be a disconnect behind the kickplate under the door, also a disconnect for the wire harness too.don't cut anything,i've found people cut the wires and then had to replace the door for this.if for some reason there isn't a disconnect there remove the hose from the water valve but there's a disconnect there.pop off the kickplate and you should see it

Door to oven does not close completely - how do I access the door hinge to check or replace it?

Open oven door. Flip metal holder down at hinge to lock hinge. Lift door with hinge attached up slightly and off oven. Reverse to re-install door, making sure notch at bottom of hinge is hooked in frame of oven properly.

My refrigerator is wider than the doorway

Remove the bottom kick plate . Remove both top hinge covers with a phillips screwdriver . At the bottom of the freezer door , follow the white water line about 6 " and push in on the white ring while pulling out on the tubing . Disconnect the wiring plug there also . Remove the top hinge screws and pull up on the door to allow removal of the water line AND the wiring . Remove the top screws on the refrig door and lift up to remove . After installation , install in reverse order .

Do you know of online instructions to take door off a side-by-side GE Adora refrigerator model no DSS25KSRDSS? The door has built-in conveniences so I need some specific instructions on how to disconnect...

there is a cap on the top hinge-remove it--unplug the wires. then unhook the water line from the front bottom(after turning the water supply off).first unscrew the top hinge with the door shut. open the door and lift it straight up until the water tube is free. then take the bottom hinge off.
