How do I pair my phone to my blue tooth

Connecting a Bluetooth headset or car kit You can listen to music over a Bluetooth stereo headset, or have hands-free conversations using a compatible Bluetooth headset or car kit. It's the same procedure to set up stereo audio and hands-free.
  • For you to listen to music with your headset or car kit, the headset or car kit must support the A2DP Bluetooth profile.
  • Before you connect your headset, you need to make it discoverable so your phone can find it. You can find out how to do this by referring to your headset manual.
  1. From the Home screen, press MENU, and then tap Settings > Wireless & networks.
  2. Tap Bluetooth settings.
  3. If the Bluetooth check box is not selected, select it to turn Bluetooth on.
  4. Make sure that the headset is discoverable.
  5. Tap Scan for devices. Your phone will start to scan for Bluetooth devices within range.
  6. When you see the name of your headset displayed in the Bluetooth devices section, tap the name. Your phone then automatically tries to pair with the headset.
  7. If automatic pairing fails, enter the passcode supplied with your headset.
The pairing and connection status is displayed below the hands-free headset or car kit name in the Bluetooth devices section. When the Bluetooth headset or car kit is connected to your phone, the Bluetooth connected icon is displayed in the status bar. Depending on the type of headset or car kit you have connected, you can then start using the headset or car kit to listen to music and/or make and receive phone calls.

I dont have the code to my bh-602

According to the manual it is 0000
I added an excerpt of the manual here :
Pair the headset
1. Ensure that your mobile device is switched on.
2. To pair the headset if it has not been previously paired with a device, switch on the headset. The headset enters the pairing mode, and the indicator light flashes blue quickly.
To pair the headset if it has been previously paired with another device, ensure that the headset is switched off, and press and hold the power key until the indicator light starts to flash blue quickly.
3. Activate the Bluetooth feature on the mobile device, and set it to search for Bluetooth devices. See the user guide of your device for instructions.
4. Select the headset from the list of found devices.
5. Enter the passcode 0000 to pair and connect the headset to your device. In some mobile devices, you may need to make the connection separately after pairing. See the user guide of your device for details. You only need to pair the headset with your device once. If pairing is successful, the headset appears in the menu of the mobile device where you can view the currently paired Bluetooth devices.

I am trying to pair my discovery 975 headset with my samsung intercept. i follow all the directions and my phone finds the headset but i dont get a screen asking for the passcode

dear frnd,

Discovery 975 how to pair with 2 devices

It is a 2 step process. To connect to 2 devices at a time you need to enable the feature of the headset called Multipoint, it is disabled by default.

See the pdf user guide here. Pg8 tells you how to turn on Multipoint. Pg7 tells you how to get the headset into pairing mode again for the 2nd device to search and find the headsets.

Note. At Power On the headset will connect to the most recently connected device only, so sometimes you may need to use the UI on your phones to make the connection to the headset if the headset did not connect to the device you wanted. However, if the headset did connect to one of the devices you use at power on, a short tap of the headset button will make it connect to the second device.

njoy n cheers

When i try to connect my genius hs-03u's to my ps3 it doesnt work is there any way to make them connect

First, examine the connection receptables on the PS 3. For example, inserting the head set pin into wrong PS 3 connection receptable would not produce any sound discussable.
1. The PS3 device has several connection receptacles either for video audio output or video audio in put.
2. Video audio out put only gets sound and movies out of the PS3 device to be projected on to another device, e.g. projector, TV screen or Any out put devices.

Note: You solution is to connect the headset to the out put indication area keeping in mind not to connect to the Video receptable, else would be trying to output video signals to the headset.

Caution: You do not want to connect the headset pin to the Video Audio Input receptacle areas, because, you would be trying to send signals into the PS3 device rather than get sound out.

Important Notes;
Getting signals out of a device like PS3 is inserting the headset in this case, pin connector would be inserted in the INPUT Area; keep in mind your are tryinng to hear sound, SO connect the HeadSet PIN to AUDIO reception area on the PS3 device

The same techniques is achievable for all equipment requirign connection.
REMEMBER TO PHYSOCALLY LOCATE THE INPUT to OUTOUT area on the device.

Give the following proccess a try.

contact the manual of the PS3 device refering to the device connectivity chapters or
Systems diagnostic or malfunction chapters for technical material when required.
