It sounds like the power switch might have broken.
Crosley might help you find a service centre, but since you didn't purchase it direct from them, that's all they will tell you.

SOURCE: we just got a crosley

remove the rubber plate at the top of the record player,, under that is a metal plate, in that plate is a large "sight hole" look in that as you turn the plate around,, look for the belt that has fallen off the motor shaft and the plate itself,, if you can't locate it, there is a spring clip at the base of the post that holds the metal plate on, remove that , you will see the motor shaft, and the ridge on the underside of the metal plate that the belt has to be on, they sometimes fall off in shipping,

SOURCE: Crosley CR6019A turntable skips

Hi
Being a portable model, it is very easy not to have the turntable level. It is very important that it is level as a tilt can lead to the head "skipping", amongst other things.

Another possible problem is that the balance has become upset by being moved around. The correct balance is achieved b the positioning of a weight on the tone arm on the opposite end to the needle. This can usually be moved short distances to balance the tone arm so that the needle is held in the record groove, by the minimum necessary weight on the needle.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya

I got my crosley record player yesterday and I tried turning it on today and the knob doesn't click like it's supposed to. Consequently the power light doesn't turn red and the turntable doesn't spin....

You have to get a program for your computer to use with Crosley. Unfortunately, there is none.

Crosley turntable

The Crosley CR6019A Executive USB Portable Turntable is sold in the USA, so I would say it is a 120 volt machine, however, it does have a small AC adapter, from 120 volts to whatever the voltage the machine uses.

Crosely won't play usb

If it's a turntable with a usb connector, those connections are usually outputs only. USB on a turntable is used to output the audio to a computer to rip albums to digital audio.

Power is on, turntable won't turn

Hi, sounds like the belt was not refitted when the motor was replaced.
To replace drive belt on a Crosley turntable.
1. Remove the cir-clip holding the platter in place from the base of the centre spindle.
2. Lift the platter off. You may need to use a flat blade or some similar tool to get under the platter in order to lift it up.
3. NA.
4. Place the belt around the platter pulley making sure it is sitting flat without any twists.
5. Flip platter over the right way up
6. You will see 3 rubber grommets in the platter surface. Remove 1. Through the hole insert a belt hook, crochet hook, kebab skewer, knitting needle type tool and slip it
between the platter pulley and belt in readiness to fit over the motor pulley.

Purchased product last month. It worked for a few days and then the volume would not function properly---stays at low volume even if knob turned all the way up.

You should return to the place you bought it. You are entitled to a replacement or your money back. Any problems contact Crosley.

Crosley Record Player Stopped Spinning...

I had this same problem with my Crosley 704 and it bamboozled me to no end.

After digging around I dug up the manual online (I bought mine used so I didn't have one to consult). It turns out the record stops when it gets to the end, and to get it spinning again you have to lift up the tone arm and move it right (past the holding latch) until it clicks, and voila, it starts spinning again, ready for a new record.

You'd think that they coulda made it more obvious :(

I always get static when adjusting the volume of my Crosley CR73, and sometimes the volume doesn't change smoothly and sometimes, I think, one channel stops working completely.

sounds like you have a dust build up on your volume switch? buy some electrical contact spray ( aerosol type ) remove the switch/knob........just pull it towards you, remove the knob and spray a bit......not too much and refit the knob and twiddle it about with the power off and then try it? repeat if necessary? good luck.
