I hear a coin or other small metal object loose behind the drum of my front loading Frigedaire washer is it CRITICAL that I have it removed if the washer is operating properly? Thanks, Edie Brenner

They design the drum to handle things like that... so long at nothing sharp sticks up and cuts the clothes that are being washed. It is only a noise issue.

My Sharp washing machine model es-s520p is always on auto-lock. so i forced the lid to open before it locks. now, my washing machine detects that its closed.. repeated blinking red lights on delicate...

the lid lock system was designed to really lock the lid during a 'spin mode operation to avoid accidents..pushing the on/off power botton usually releases the lock I can imagine that the lock/release solenoidis now 'jammed and it is best to replace will have to open the top part of your washing machine to do that..2 visible screws on the sides and 2 hidden screws behind the rear portion of the top careful with this repair job electricity can kill people..good luck

Kenmore 22422 seeping water from under machine

look underneath the washer.there sould be a hose there.sometimes an unbalanced load can cause the hose to rub up against sharp metal when the machine vibrates.mine had a zip tie that held the hose to close to the edge of the machine which had some sharp metal and it put a small hole in the hose.hope this helps.
