Impossible to determine. Bike serial numbers are not like the VIN on a car. There is no central database or even consistency within one manufacturer.

If there is no head badge and it's been repainted so there's no model either it simply does not matter what it is. Even with those things present the serial number may be of little or no use. If you know the make/brand just Google "(brand) serial number" and do your own research. That's all anyone else would do.

Need help to identity a bmx frame with serial number cic22b0181

Very few bikes can be ID'd by serial number. It's not like a VIN on a car, any manufacturer can use any scheme they want. Post multiple pics on a BMX specific site with anything you know about the frame. You can also try a Google search for "BMX serial number CIC." For more info see my tip:

Hello I was needing help with a BMX bike serial number that I purchased at a estate sale. Serial number is K98E003478 can you help me with identifying the bike please? No decals on bike!

Sure, I'll identify it with a high degree of certainty. It's likely a stolen bike. If not then someone did a lousy repaint job. Either way it does not matter what it is, because any value of a particular brand is gone, and parts are pretty much universal.

Not possible. Find some BMX sites, post detailed pics of bike and components. Not all that important, though.

Purchased bike. stickersays bmx pro 1974 trying to use serial # to see if this is really a bmx pro 1974

As far as I know "BMX Pro" is not a brand/model. Whatever the brand is, the serial number is often not useful. Contact the manufacturer (name on the head tube where the fork goes through the frame.

I am trying to find out what year the free agent bmx i am doing up was boult.

Often not possible to tell from serial number, but certainly this is not the best site for such info. Google Free Agent bmx serial number. Alternatively search for Free Agent bmx, and post a pic on the site of your bike, see if anyone can ID year from paint/decals/equipment.

Bmx serial number help

If the head badge indicating the brand and the decals indicating model are gone it's either repainted or stolen. The serial number alone is little help, but may be a Mongoose ("Google bike serial number cho"). If you are really concerned try going to a bmx site and post detailed pics, but it's not very important. Parts for bikes are universal, and a bike without any ID on it is worth much, much less.
